Keiran Longbottom
First time i have ever posted but wondering what people thought about the Sarries tighthead when he seemed to go lose consiousness during a scrum yesterday and for a very brief time seemed to have a fit while the scrum was breaking up. The commentators on BT mentioned it at the time but i haven't heard anything since. I have to say i found it very disturbing watching it on the replay. Kelly Brown seemed very concerned at the time. If the cameras caught it should the TMO mention it to the ref. Should the coching staff not do something about it?

Re: Keiran Longbottom
Thought he was out due to lack of oxygen which I know can happen in a scrum, didn't see him fitting though.
Not sure why lanes decided to push brown when he was looked concerned

Re: Keiran Longbottom
The issue is that Longbottom has been out injured for months and that was probably one of his first proper scrums in a match in months. He's probably not yet up to speed in terms of where he needs to be in intensity.
It's not really easing a player back in putting them against the Saints frontrow.
You are right though - the medical team should have at least checked on him though.

Another case like George North where you can clearly see an issue on replays, surely the TMO has to call attention to it? Not heard anything from Saracens medical staff/PR team and I'm not medically trained so don't know if he was deemed fit or they didn't know but from a laymans view he probably should have been taken off.

Given TMO does nothing but eat a packet of biscuits for a lot of games, they should be alerting the referee to issues like this.

Just seen it - not good that Lawes shoves Brown when he's checking the player's OK.
