Oh gosh no, we need to keep rugby union pure. No player, coach, official or fan should dare watch, or worse even, partake in any other sport.

Why is everybody so touchy tonight?
Is it the Nervous Excitement as people wait to see what's going to happen in Best League in the World at the weekend? Calm down everyone. You may fail miserably but you'll still have contributed to some Outstanding Rugby that AP and Top14 sides could only dream of emulating.

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
Not sure what the issue is regarding TMOs.
Even if one was biased, how exactly would he get away with it. The ref sees the screen sin the ground too, not to mention the fans in the stadium, the pundits, and those watching on tv.
You'd be a pretty brave TMO to say "Nothing wrong with that" in the instance of a player being tipped over horizontal and not brought back down safely.
Or maybe.... maybe TMOs arent actually idiots, nor scumbags, and maybe they actually have integrity, and believe in the job they do....
Never heard so much Tom Kite in my life...

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
Small correction to the games info posted earlier:
Sky had 30 games under its contract, but ended up covering 31 plus they have the semi-finals and final - with possible feeds to secondary broadcaster for these.
23 of them featured Irish teams
17 of them featured Welsh teams
11 of them featured Scottish teams
2 of them featured Italian teams.
Home/Away Games
Glasgow had 5/4 - 9
Leinster had 4/5 - 9
Munster had 3/6 -9
Ulster 3/5 - 8
Scarlets had 5/3 - 8
Ospreys 3/4 - 7
Connacht 2/1 - 3
Edinburgh 1/2 - 3
Blues 2/0 - 2
Dragons 1/1 - 2
Zebre 1/0 - 1
Treviso 1/0 - 1
Irish - 23/31 - 74%
Welsh - 17/31 - 54%
Scottish - 35%
Italian - 0.7%
The current top 6 in league had 50 appearances between them, the bottom half 12.
Top Irish provinces - Munster, Leinster, Ulster had 26 combined
Top Welsh regions - Scarlets/Ospreys - 15 combined
Top Scottish - Glasgow - 9 combined
Irish provinces featured in 18 rounds - not rounds, 3, 6, 11, & 14.
Welsh regions featured in 14 rounds - not rounds 5, 8, 14, 16, 19, 20, 21, 22.
Scottish regions featured in 9 rounds. Glasgow have been in 1, 3, 6, 10, 11, 14, 15, 16, 22.
Again these are reflective of the teams performances as season progressed - relatively even coverage each weekend until the New Year, then they start to be more selective.

No, they don't. Not in the Kingspan, because "the footage can't be found". Check the Wilson incident.

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
Couldn't be bothered reading back through all the pages of ttwattle to see if anyone actually posted the TV schedule so here it is:
Pro12 schedule
Saturday (all 3.00):
Treviso v Scarlets, BBC Wales;
Connacht v Ospreys, S4C;
Edinburgh v Leinster, BBC Alba;
Glasgow Warriors v Ulster, Sky Sports;
Munster v Dragons, TG4.
Semi-finals: Friday, May 22, 7.45; Saturday, May 23, 2.30. Final: Saturday, May 30, 6.30, Kingspan Stadium.
Looks like I'm finally going to get a chance to try out the PIP on my new TV.

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
Fantastic run in. You have to fancy Munster to top the table now.
Would love to see a Munster, Ulster 1 - 2 which would set up a mega final at Ravenhill. Glasgow could throw the spanner in the works though.

If Ospreys beat Connacht, don't Ulster have to get a bonus point win away to Glasgow for that to happen?

Yeah but Connacht will beat Ospreys.
With Mitrea reffing and the Munster lad as TMO, they certainly have every chance.

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
I think Connacht have a real chance of beating Ospreys. Connacht are a tough team to beat at home and Ospreys away form hasn't been great. I can't see us beating Glasgow though. Like Ospreys our away form hasn't been good and we will likely be without Henderson and maybe Wilson. Pienaar isn't 100% and Herbst needs a break.
I think we will be travelling to Ospreys in the semi, but I'm not too worried. If we can fix it so Marshall Kilgore travels with us as TMO then I'm confident of a win.
Munster v Ulster final at Ravenhill. They way it's meant to be...

Nigel won't be reffing that. More likely to be Patterson or Mitrea.

Marshall is a pro (metaphorically speaking of course, I'm not suggesting he's on the Ulster rugby payroll or anything) - he'll adapt on the day.
