So stop evading 7&1/2s question, Chunk. This thread is about you, televised games, a party in London and the right pub to choose to get the right game so that your weekend isn't completely ruined.
The man asked you directly a few times now.... is the genuine or fantastical pub now booked?

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
This is how it goes on 606. I might do it in flowchart form if I have time.
1) Chunky posts an interesting fact / theory
2) Irish in pack mentality descend and either...............
2a) Seek to disprove fact by making something up
2b) Seek to disprove fact by suggesting a counter claim that is totally illogical / irrelevant / nonsensical
2c) Seek to derail thread by making a distinctly unfunny and irrelevant analogistic remark
Under no circumstances is 1) acknowledged / admitted / considered to be even remotely possible.

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
This Thread is about you and a pub in London based on a schedule.
The schedule is now there. Have you organised the pub?
When you confirm or deny, the reason for this thread ceases to exist and you can create a new Niggle Thread based on some other shortcoming of the Great Pro12.

Sorted that for youChunky Norwich wrote:This is how it goes on 606. I might do it in flowchart form if I have time.
1) Chunky posts a massive wind up in the manor of a Catherine Tate sketch. (always the same punchline containing the words league, pathetic, shameless/shameful, disgraceful etc.)
2) A load of poor saps with fock all better to do take the bait
2a) Chunks uses any combination of fact and supposition to make the point.
2b) Portray simple stuff like the day a game is on in the most dramatic fashion possible, involving words above for max effect.
2c) Seek to derail thread by making a distinctly unfunny and irrelevant analogistic remark. (Normally something like "have you mental health issues?" or "It's like dealing with primary school")
Under no circumstances is it acknowledged / admitted / considered to be even remotely possible that there may actually be no conspiracy and events he is amalgamating to suit his agenda may be in fact totally unrelated.

Re: Pro12 TV Schedule
So So in summary then:
Glasgow v Ulster is on Sky.
Sky do have a preference for featuring Irish teams in their schedule.
The Sky monies are divided across three countries proportionate to their number of teams from Wales, Ireland & Scotland
The FTA monies are divided based on the proportionate amount brought to the table by each country - Wales 70%, Ireland 20% Scotland 10% approx.
Verdict:
Sky might like the Irish on TV away from home, but the Welsh bring home the money from FTA.
And Scotland plan to take home the league.
All good then.

Ban the Childish Snipers and get back to real genuine debate on genuinely interesting rugby topics, like Irish officials getting paid by IRFU at secret brown envelope drop-points to throw games in favour of Irish Provincial sides.
Let's take these issues seriously and either deny them in 606 court, using the necessary po-faced language, or admit all the accusations are true and say three Hail Mary's for penance.
Ban Childish Sni............................................ oh I'm one of them........
Nevermind what I said. Carry on.

Typical.
Someone honestly makes an assertion that the accusations against Irish officials being on-the-take and winding up Pro12 to suit their own ends is absolute unadulterated bullschidt, and all 'the Welsh' can do if offer lame attempts at evasive 'humour'.

Recognise the wording?

That was for the Edification of Chunks btw - not you.
Brand??? - a frail, frail mimic of Oscar Wilde. I'd much, much prefer the original of the species or Joyce
But the wording I'm using on this particular occasion is of course a parody of Chunky's own style. He's right beside you on these pages and you seem to be the only one blind to his presence.

Oh, your previous comment was meant to silence me. Sorry, I didn't realise.
Love what? Banter? I think love is too strong a word. I enjoy a bit of banter and admittedly sometimes I need to keep it in check. Some guys don't understand it, and sometimes the wums take offence at being wummed back. This is true

Oi, leave Russel out of it. He's lovely and would never use a word like uproarious. He would more elegantly use words like vociferent and tumultuous with typical flourish.

Are you seriously resorting to criticizing a posters use of verbiage? This thread has to be a new low for this forum, with some previously sensible posters lowering themselves to total pre-pubescent bile.
How any right thinking person can't identify the genuine troll on this thread is totally beyond me and unfortunately a major reason why this place is going down the pan.
Hopefully someone with a modicum of wit will lock this thread soon.

I was trying to find a mad Wildean analogy to madden that natives with for that precise point. But that's a beauty enough for me, Munch - you old Oscarian divil you!
But it's true. People come on here to entertain themselves by throwing all kinds of wonderful madness at 'issues' then they get irked when people join them and throw stones at their glasshouses too.... Weird folks.

A troll is a troll yes. But why ban 'em when you can hunt their nonsense down? I prefer hunting them. I'm sorry to all the sensible posters out there but I find it fun. And maybe that's a personality disorder but I find it fun.
Anyone who remembers the old 606 on BBC will undoubtedly remember a much more anarchic place than this is! Anything went there.
We had lots of serious discussions on the small details of all aspects of rugby and teams, and best players, and team selections, and Lions candidates etc etc. And then there was also a lot of 'HUMOUR' threads where people just went mad with accusations and counter strikes and weird logic and wild analogies. And of course a guy wandered around there called KingOfTheSaxons or something like that. And he was a ball because he could so easily 'wind-up' certain peoples from certain regions of certain isles who for some reason took his absolute bullschidt as being serious. It was never meant to be serious - he was so outlandish he was obviously just a pastiche Imperialist - but some weird folks took everything he said as deathly serious.
So Munch is right.
But that's what killed this place. Not that Wums destroyed it (it never came close to the intensity of wumming that happened on the BBC version) - but that wums were tut tutted out of the place in preference for the good people of boring stats and endless Lions select committees.
Every site needs a balance of serious and mental. This is an asylum of 'seriousness' and 'wummery' accusations of 'bullying'. It's grey. Any of the characters that were characters left.
I guess having said all that means this will be Locked now.

Agreed on all points Fly.
I remember one Ulster fan on the old 606 who used to whip himself into a frenzy and actually challenged other forum users to meet at the gates of Ravenhill for a good old bunch of fives. I am quite sure he meant it which is what made it all the funnier. The WUMs were fun back then.
