Your Clubs Mr Reliable...
Just curious to see who you would say your club simply couldn't do with out on the pitch.
Who is your Mr Reliable...

Marcos Ayerza in the pack (closely followed by Ed Slater) and Anthony Allen in the backs.
That these three have between them amassed 17 AP starts this season - and Allen really was not fit when he played, has really hampered us.
PS. Please fix the typo in topic heading.

Tom Savage would the reliable one as you can always guarantee he'll put a shift in. Kvesic is completely irreplaceable; after an understated first season with Glaws he has been absolutely awesome this year.

Ulster have two, and by far our biggest problem is that we've been doing without them both for most of the season- Chris Henry and Paddy Jackson.

Saints - Myler and Samoa closely followed by Wood and Foden (as their form since he got injured has shown)

I think for Edinburgh it should be pretty easy. Roddy Grant very rarely puts in a bad shift and has played all across the backrow for us.

Dragons, I think it's Landman. We sure did miss him during his ban. And now he's had a good run of games, Brok Harris also.

Re: Your Clubs Mr Reliable...
There is a difference between whose reliable and who is irreplacable.
Most reliable for Saracens is Chris Wyles - because he's played all backline positions bar 9 and 10 - he fills in where needed. Not irreplacable but he's ever present in the 23.
The whole point of strength in depth is that no player should be irreplacable.
Though saying that the Vunipola bros are pretty difficult to replace.
Others - Brad Barritt and Alex Goode. The indisputed first choices in their position.
Goode in particular has never been rated as a international full back by many but has been generally very consistent at 15 for Saracens. Also he's managed to fill in at 10 when he's needed to. Noticeably outclassing Ford at 10 last season. Also his excellent goal kicking makes him someone you can rely on too. I think Goode is one of the best goal kickers in England.

Heaslip for Leinster, constantly performs to a high level and will change his game to suit the backrow make up. Pure Class.
Gopperth is also reliable, the performance will range between underwhelming and ineffective everytime.

You can normally rely on Ross Ford to miss his jumpers at least 50% of the time.
Seriously, Al Dickinson has made himself almost irreplaceable especially following the change in the engagement laws.

I would go with Christian Day for Saints. Think his age and previous injuries may be just starting to catch up with him now but he's been a top consistent performer for a long time now and to me Saints always seem to play better when he starts. Think the Paterson signing will mean he is more of a squad player next season. Reminds me of Louis Deacon for Tigers in as much as always happy to do the grunt work and let others grab the headlines. The kind of player a team really misses when gone.WELL-PAST-IT wrote:Saints - Myler and Samoa closely followed by Wood and Foden (as their form since he got injured has shown)
