First topic message reminder :

Right, here we go with the start of the Culture Cup 2.0

All nominations are cast and the voting process is ready.  If you’re not all voted out after the excitement of yesterday, then please put your X in a box here.

Think carefully as you only get one vote and vote cancelling is not allowed.

The question for this round was - WHAT IS THE BEST FILM WITH NO MORE THAN 2 WORDS IN THE TITLE?

Remember, this is open TO ANYONE ON 606v2 WHO WANTS TO VOTE.

I’ve cunningly used www.random.org to mix up the titles so they are not in order of the list of posters.

It's more brownish than black and white.

Clear evidence that this round needs to be replayed as people are mistaking it with another film.

I have seen it. I even own it on DVD. I did not vote for it, in fact if this round was for the best ever Coen Brothers film I would not vote for it. In fact I would go as far as to say it is not even the best Coen brothers film of two or less words, being inferior to both Fargo and Millers Crossing (it is however better than Intolerable Cruelty, that fact I will happily concede)

A very respectable opinion, Jeff.  I would put it on a par with Miller's Crossing and slightly ahead of Fargo, O Brother Where Art Thou and The Man Who Wasn't There.

I enjoyed Barton Fink. Thought his sidekick karate was excellent. Hugo A-Go-Go brilliantly characterised....

I can confirm that Galted only submitted one song. And that was Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson.

It would be unfair to reveal the song as people would vote for it regardless of whether they had heard it or liked it due to their devotion to me.

I did nominate Wuthering Heights in a previous cup only to get phuck-all votes. And someone then got a podium finish in the next round using the same song.

Kate Bush is a horrendous woman.
