The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Have to admit Staggy after 15 mins of sobbing I'd have struggled to come up with any small talk, nice effort.

Munsty - aye I saw that interview, and whilst it's scary he's still growing he isn't really the biggest winger out there. When I went to watch Scarlets v Edinburgh, Visser was definitely bigger and taller then him. Although having said that, George North is a solid lad, his thighs are massive, tis quite frightening!

Kiwi- it was a 3 hour train journey. I was travelling around the country and I wasn't suffering 3 hours of this. She talked about her problems for about 40 minutes and was actually quite good company the rest of journey. South African she was actually.

And one on refereeing for Stag, http://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/rugby/super-rugby/5085459/Steve-Walsh-return-delayed-by-injury - some young ref's names to watch at the end, including Glen Jackson.

All my 'group' games are sorted. When we are travelling between games we won't actually be anywhere that has a game on the day we are there (EG - we are going to Dunedin but not on a match day).
Had a email yesterday, informing me that, as I had entered the original ballot for Semi AND Final tickets, there was an opportunity to purchase tickets for those on a 1st come first served basis, these are very limited. I will be going for those when the 'window' opens - fingers crossed

Court system in meltdown. 26 people to deal with by video link this morning in South West Wales (normally there would be ten or twelve max) and the Court put the wrong date on my client's form. All hell broke loose because the prison warrant expired today but the video link was booked for the 1/7. Normally this sort of MFU can be accommodated in the slack. However today the system was oversubscribed. If this is what the brave new world of technological advances in court proceedures throws up then heaven help us when they cut more from the court budget. Justice will suffer.
And, right, there was a girl in Court with probation or the press or one of the ones that sit on the side with unfeasibly large jubblies for such a slight one...it's lucky I have good powers of concen, con, concentr...

Glas - be prepared, because this government thinks computers can do everything and they're severely cutting back on staff in all public departments.
Is it just me or does anyone else get annoyed with people on Facebook who post deliberately vague status updates on their page, then get shirty or more vague when you ask them about it? What's the flipping point of that then??

Well I was chuffed. She's worth about £700.
Some plonker had left the gate open when they were grazing down there over the winter. We found the rest of them in the grounds of St David's Mental Hospital 10 yards from the main road! We never found her but it seems she was in a field with some dairy cows 2 or 3 farms away. The jungle drums have taken until now to sort it out.

Anyone else seen the guy Jobless Paddy? He rented a big billboard on Merrion Street in Dublin with his CV details and the words Save Me From Emmigration.

Our ram's half sister was sold last year for 24,000 guineas (£25,200). A slightly more distant relative was sold two years ago for £231,000, a world record for a sheep and I was there.

It was in Scotland actually. It's a pedigree so for producing other pedigrees not directly for meat. Just as in Horses and dogs, there is a premium on fashionable genetics.

Jebus! Ewe were made for meeeeeeeeeeee. No wonder some Welshmen treasure their sheep more than their GF's.
Is that racist? Or sheepist? No, it's purely financial.
Seriously. That's a lot of money wrapped up in wool, Glas.
Hobo mate, can we also have <musicalnote> please?
G'day regs. Have man-flu. You'll be glad to hear... its only a matter if time now...

Do you know what one of the best things I like about the rugby boards here so far is? It's the amount of Scottish posters there are. There seem to be so many more then there were on old 606, tis great to see, I always felt they were under represented over there. All we need is to get more English posters on board here and we'll have a nice balance I think.

Yeah I noticed the Scots are coming out now. I think what's attracted different people here is the lack of wummery.

Cari,
Sorry pal. Thank you for requesting the the zen! X.
I agree Dreamer. Its so much healthier.
Hobo, it is great to see more Scots on here. Job well done V2 Team. You are really making the old 606, look decidedly amateur and inward-looking.
And we have always wanted a Blues fan in here. Welcome! More.
Dreamer, if that JA606 is closed, we are in for it. Its where all the one-liners, same article multi-posting, DISCUSS. FACT merchants, had gone for respite. Beware.

Looks like I am going to be buying all my salad stuff from the supermarket unless the bloody sun finally decides to come out. Holy Moly, warm and wet, I could put up with. Cold but dry and sunny - what's not to like? But cold and wet, wet and cold. Stop!! Or I might as well put the outdoor tomatoes on the compost heap now.

Gibbo, I didn't see your post about the Armangac until this morning - it did arrive safe and sound, thanks! Also managed to leave Rava's gift of the Bushmills teatowel behind and had to beg yet another favour from Olive and Mell. Needless to say, they came up trumps, teatowel and pot holder now installed.
