The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
First topic message reminder :
Welcome to the virtual rugby pub - a place where you can come in for a sly beverage and discuss whatever's on your mind, or just eavesdrop on the regulars if you fancy a break from all the rugby chat.
The only rule in this pub is one of mutual respect for everyone in it, oh and no defacing the Tommy Bowe photo on the bar. That's a banning offence
So pull up a chair....what'll it be?

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
I think I could have gotten into spiderman if it wasn't for Maguire to be honest, he's just not my cup of tea.
But I suppose this makes me a bit of a hypocrite but I loved Iron-Man come to think of it, oh and transformers (but I'm not sure if that was a comic)
Sin City was classic as well but that was classified as a graphic novel not a comic. Also had a certain MsAlba in it again

If you like Iron man you’d like Xmen.
During the movie there was one scene where I thought Magneto’s voice sounded Irish, just looked him up and Michael Fassbender was brought up in Killarney. So that explains that!

Hughie, of course we could. The thing is made from metal. We'd just run off with it
We already have Superman (Paulie). Magneto would be a nice addition.

Pino's Pizza in Cleveland Circle pete. Best in town!
Take the Green C line out.
Actually, not worth the 40 minute round trip but it's really good pizza!

Bore da pawb / good morning all.
It's a smasher of a morning here in Newport
Cari, I've never been to Ludlow either but I've heard that it has more Michelin-starred restaurants than you'd expect a town that size to have. I don't know why I'm mentioning it...

Munsty, I don't quite understand why he was involved either. Maybe it's because he has prior experience of getting high, albeit in a hot air balloon.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Morning all
I am having a manic week here. I start a new job on Monday, have been moved to cover supervising a serious crime investigation team while their current supervisor goes on a course for three months, so am snowed under trying to clear my own jobs before moving on.
Big change for me having to line manage a team, as well as overseeing all of the teams investigations, hopefully I am up to the challenge.
Really looking forward to the T14 final this weekend, hope that Montpellier can get the win, have a real liking for them as a club.

Morning all.
A couple of things - the Q&A with Marcel Garvey is up - https://www.606v2.com/t6164-marcel-garvey-qa-answers
And hughie - I am a huge fan of the Walking Dead. The second series is out in October and is 13 episodes long this time.
I have got through the first 10 volumes of the graphic novel and it is very different from the series (both have good and bad points).

Sandra Bullock is distinctly average looking.
Put her, Jane Middlemiss and Cludia Winkleman in a lineup and I can’t tell the difference. They’re all beige.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Once I find time to complete my portfolio and get it signed of Rava. Vicious circle though, you have to put in the work to investigate the crimes to have evidence to put in the portfolio, which leaves you no time to get the actual portfolio done. I should have had it done by now, but have just been so busy I've not yet completed it.

Wow, reading back I see that Luckless has been to Windsor Castle or something was it. I forget where now. Still fair play.
Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Oh, I've been to Buckingham Palace, Dreamer. It's a posh lady's house in London Town. Tidy-looking inside but you're not allowed to take photos, as a beefeater told my sister in no uncertain terms.

Re: The Dew Drop Inn Virtual Rugby Pub
Above the text box there are some buttons. The one that’s 2 to the left of the emoticon button is the link button. A small window pops up with 2 fields, the first one you put the link in, the second one you put the text in. press ok and it puts the code into the text box, then you just hit send. Simples!

AMLIN – 78.46% - 10th out of 28 in Pub (Globally 229 / 1738)
