Surprised that Toulouse hasn't made this list.

Re: The best rugby supporters in Europe (Top 10)
I always found the Munster attitude of silence during place kicking far too intense. For example, I was in a pub in Limerick when Munster were playing Bourgoin (sp) in 2006 I think. The match was in Switzerland. O'Gara lined up a kick and people were going sshhh.
We were in a pub! I imagine 1000 miles from the game! How the f0ck could I put him off?

All fans have their own way of dealing with stress.
If you're used to staying silent for kicks when you go to TP then that's what you'll probably do when watching at home , in the pub etc.

That's Inten-sit-Y, Mike. People complain when they don't have it in their supporters. When teams have got it, people complain that it's too much.
Damned both ways as usual when rugby is the topic.

I'm from Newcastle Fly - you don't need to tell me about intense fans. Nearly 50k of them watch their team every home game.
Its funny, when I first moved to Limerick a boss of mine said Munster fans and Geordies are very similar/ passionate. I said yeah, but at least Munster win things...
Still, you have to admire their dedication. Not sure many teams would have that support with no trophies to show for most of their lives.

I would put forward whichever hardy London Welsh fans turn up this weekend as the best supporters. Its easy to turn up every week when your team is successful, but to pay to watch your side ship 40 points every week takes real dedication!

Yeah it's true and a lot of the fans that are so loud and proud on the big European stage melt away once the team is losing more than they win.

If we had a "recommend" button I'd use it for this.
