So Foreign Transfer Window is now open correct?

Tom Cleverley: Always like to see academy graduates in the first team. Think the Moyes era may have unfairly cost him is united career as people will point to how many games he played and how poor united did last season. As Trebs said, very tidy player in possession but I always felt he backed out of challenges. He'll go on to be an established premier league player and will settle into a Europa League side.

Someone needs to PM me with:

Two players for lawyers (e.g. Clichy + Kompany)
Two clubs offering deals for them (e.g. Fiorentina + Schalke)
Random draw for offers - either straight cash, p/ex, or both, for each player (Fiorentina offer Pasqual + £6m for Clichy, Schalke offer £38m for Kompany)

Hang on.

I was under the impression lawyers would come before we did foreigns. I look set to miss out on one big target and a player i definitely would have been wanting.

Everybody seen the story on Sterling that the BBC are reporting? In all honesty, I think the only top side that would be come in for him will be Man City at this point.

Carrick then. Laugh

I've got a couple of targets but not enough cash, so wouldn't mind seeing lawyers offers or consider releasing somebody.

I know trebs but what is the point of the youth team really? They are never gonna be in the starting 11 or the bench and are just there to do what exactly, if they get injured it won't even matter will it.  They are just get out of jail cards to stop your first teamers gettinh injured. I didn't even put them in my team for that reason. I don't like it sorry guys.

Right, I have updated the TP page. The mini window will close at 9am and the 2 hour clock will start ticking for counter bids.

I disagree with Nadeem. I have a small squad as it is, youth are part of my squad. Already got to cope without Bale and Pepe this week, why make it harder for me to suit you?

Rule changes inbetween seasons only surely.

The window runs 9am to 9am. But to prevent late bidding to gazzump people, there is a two hour extension to the window for counter offers (i.e. until 11am).

And each time there is a new bid, the 2 hour extension starts again (e.g. if there is a new bid at 10.30, the extension then goes to 12.30)

The rule that youth teamers should not be included in the injury list viva. They are just there to make up the numbers and stop the first teamers from getting injuted, even trebs agrees.

See marky, youth players are useless on here. Your never gonna play them and they are just there to stop your big players from getting injured. Buy some players from foreigns if your squad is too small. I suggest a poll to settle it.

No poll needed. No rule changes after the season has started.

Also, I selected players who could step in if necessary. Like Odegaard and Abner.

I think it doesn't matter what I think.

I think it makes sense that youth players aren't included in injuries as it does dilute the chances of your first team getting injured.

I also think you can't just go and change a rule mid season unless every manager is happy to do so, or it is closing a blatant loophole that someone is exploiting.

I think it was open to interpretation, the fact that youths were added separately with it implied that there were in addition to the main squad 28.

Having said that, there is no mention about injuring youth players on the rules and i definitely think that youths should be exempt from injury to actually force squad depth.

But for the injuries i couldn't do that, some managers have mixed youth in their squad.

Maybe just add an injury for youth players only. My opinion is they are as part of the squad fair game for injury even if not used.
