Personally i say lawyers Tuesday before a big transfer deadline day wednesday

if it gets extended it will close tomorrow not Wednesday.

We should have a deadline day, I've had pants lawyers so far and it'll be halfway through the season before I can bid again.

My lawyers have also not been kind to me. I had to sell a couple on the cheap.

No lawyers before the deadline. The deadline has always been, and will continue to be, 9am tomorrow, continuing to 11am if there are bids in place (as there is currently). Lawyers will be sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Afternoon Gents. I agree with having a deadline day. Ideally the same day as Lawyers.

With such a big gap between Foreign Transfer's re-opening, Lawyers will help generate much needed cash for most sides and it will be fun to see who panic buys which players.

I disagree. We agreed the rules before we began the league, and because one or two managers haven't had the lawyers they want, we're demanding additional tps? Madness.

Afro, as a goal, it isn't the best. But it's the moment of winning such a big game which makes it special. Personally, I think any United fan would vote that goal (myself included) and that's probably enough to make it win the best goal of all time. It's like Solskjaer for me scored the greatest champions league goal of all time.

Cantona's v Newcastle was always one of my faves.
I do though love Gigg's goal as it was also on my birthday.

Can we get a final answer then, if no lawyers before the deadline I better get looking for some cheap TPs!

I think it would only be doable if it was unanimous. Which it clearly isn't, so it's a no-goer.

I just think that by placing restrictions it's limiting the fun and the league will start to stifle once more, yey 4 weeks of not buying anyone, what joy!

I'm not demanding additional lawyer offers. I'm just asking that the Foreign Transfer Window is extended a day to run along side this week's Lawyers so we can have a Transfer Deadline Day.

It's a long time between now and the next transfer window so I just thing it would be fun to generate some buzz, after all the league is supposed to be exactly that, Fun!

I could and would extend it by a day, but only if we had unanimous agreement from all managers.

I'm not even going to reply to Afro ridiculous statement about Giggs.

That's how I imagine Viva and Nadz on a day out together, minus the daterape drugs.

If you're waiting for unanimous agreement you won't be getting it. If however you want to make up more rules and go for a majority, I can't stop you. I just expect the same to happen next week if people get rubbish lawyers.

I had to sell players I didn't want to sell, so I could buy who I wanted to buy. Part of the game. Easy to say "rubbish lawyers", that's the game unfortunately. It would be fun having a deadline day but I'm indifferent on the subject to be honest.

I haven't said anything about having rubbish lawyers. I just think the point that both myself & Hero are trying to make is we would like to see an extension to the deadline for Foreign Transfer's by a day or so, so that they can sync up with Lawyers which will create a transfer deadline day.

I can understand that. And I appreciate the explanation, rather than the outright dismissal I got from Viva.

Still prefer the Cantona goal v Sunderland. His celebration of "yes, I know I am special" was both arrogant and absolutely justified.

You can.

You can technically release players on a Saturday even if you don't do tactics until Monday as the squads were locked on Friday night for that week.
