I don't think I've ever wanted a Norwich player to do as well as the wolf - I'm talking wilbraham levels of love for this man

So Norwich have more revealed three kits - all of which are predominantly green and yellow.
What a time to be alive (the 3rd kit is a disgrace to eyes everywhere btw)

It would be fine as a home kit, I just dont understand what teams they can play that have an issue with the home kit but that isnt a clash?

Literally the home kit is yellow with green, away kit is green with yellow and that's a combination of both.
It's bizarre

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I think James McClean should bugger off and play somewhere else, I have no problems with anti-British sentiments as long as it's not done by people employed by a British company (club), stinks of hypocrisy. It's good enough to earn a living from but bad enough to openly disrespect, i'm not a massive fan of the Americans but I wouldn't go over their and make a point out of not liking them, it's stupidity.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
McClean was not partaking in violent protest or vandalism, merely performing a form of anti-protest. His action affected no other party and caused no damage. It was merely a demonstration of his beliefs, namely that his conscious cannot bear to celebrate the jingoism surrounding a country that shot dead 13 civilians in Derry in 1972. McClean was born in Derry.
Furthermore, this whole 'go home if you don't like it' nonsense is pretty sneery stuff. So because you believe that Britain, through its long history of colonialism, oppressed vast swathes of the world, you should not be allow to work within its borders?
Celebrate the actions of the army in fighting against those who contravene human rights, only to decry those who dare to use the right to free speech in a peaceful manner. The new British way.
Read that earlier, summed up nicely for me

Isn't this chap a pro-IRA sort? I believe he once named an IRA song as a personal favourite or something.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Norwich - this is a squad better than the Championship, but ill suited to the PL. Lack of activity and a novice manager that has to adjust to not being a firm favorite in every game suggests they may struggle.
Bournemouth - they aren't the fairytale that will get shoved down all our throats this season, but suspect they may end up closer to the Burnleys of this world, plucky but lack quality.
Villa - I like Sherwood more than most, but for a club that has been on the brink of relegation for years, there are far too many ifs to have confidence.

I'd like to see Bournemouth stay up to MIG, hope i'm proved wrong, but don't think they will be strong enough.
With Villa, I feel, its down to how Sherwood gets the squad playing, especially the new guys playing.
We need to hit the ground running, could well be in for another dog fight alright.
Before the window closes, we need another centre back. One with some experience would be good.

i think bournemouth will go down, i can see them giving it a go under howe, but they will find it much tougher.
watford look like abit like a qpr to me at the moment, loads of names. but will they gel into a team who are up for the scrap of relegation.
not sure what to expect from norwich, havent see much of them for a while, but can only imagine a 17th place or lower.
dont think it's beyond the realms of possibility that all 3 go straight back down. on paper watford look the strongest, and out of current prem teams could see leicester going down instead of them

Norwich, Leicester, Sunderland. No Prem quality, no Cambiasso, no threat or defence - in that order.

hardly surprising. He will return & then get injured again. it will be a continuous cycle, until his body eventually does give up & forces him to retire pretty early. England need to find a reliable alternative for the euro's, because we can have no confidence in him being there.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
I can't see past Chelsea for the title. Not convinced by Pellegrini. I think teams will have to slip up like Liverpool (excuse the pun) and Chelsea did in 2013-14 for Man City to win. I can't trust Man United with Louis Van Gaal. At times they looked like world beaters last season and other times clueless. Arsenal have added Cech but their defence still looks suspect. Next year always seems to be Arsenal's year. I don't see that changing.
I expect Liverpool to be better than people expect this season with no Gerrard-atric or distractions from Sterling. Tottenham will do what they usually do.
The three promoted teams will struggle and I can also see likes of Newcastle and Everton struggling too. I think McClaren and Ashley will come under pressure pretty quickly. Not sure on Leicester? Could see them doing very well or very badly. I don't see them in mid-table mediocrity. I think people with have a knee-jerk reaction on West Ham based on their reserves Europa League exit but I expect them to push on.
Aston Villa played some very good football under Sherwood last year, outplaying Man City at the Etihad and Liverpool in the FA Cup Semi Final. It was a shame they didn't turn up for the final but looking forward to see Sherwood in his first full year as a manager. Stoke has Bojan back and have made some other astute signings. Can see them challenging for a European spot. Likewise with Crystal Palace. Cabaye and Bamford could be very good additions to their squad.
I am going to tip Sunderland for a top ten finish too purely based on them having my favourite kit this season (closely followed by Man United, Tottenham, West Brom and Man City).
