Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Palace at home tomorrow - we suck on opening day and they're quite good.
Predict 3-1 win for them, Howson with our goal.
Much more confident about Sunderland away the week after

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
At the risk of sounding negative, think we may lose tomorrow.
Bournemouth's first game ever in the premiership, they will certainly want to make it a winning start.
Think we have a few out injured.
Hopefully we start well.
Gonna be a tough game.

Yep they are injured.

That's why Tripper should be starting ahead of Walker.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Spurs had an excellent opening fifteen minutes, but have been careless in possession ever since. The tempo has also dropped substantially.
United getting the luck at the moment - Walker's own goal after Rooney's poor touch, and Dembele being incorrectly flagged offside when through on goal.

Guzan
Bacuna Richards Clarke Amavi
Veretout Gueye Westwood Sinclair
Gabby Ayew.
subs:- Bunn Baker Cole Hutton Sanchez Gestede Richardson.
No Kozak.
Some pace there.
bit nervy about this game as its the first and Bournmouths first in the prem.
Think this could be a draw.

Winning start for United.
I've already made a mess out of fantasy football, Norwich not starting Redmond.

Hugely fortunate win for United. Abject level of creativity. Spurs were fairly woeful for about 65 minutes.
Rubbish! So rubbish Chris Smalling was man of the match.

Snore fest at Dean Court.
Least we're not losing.
In my goals goals at half time out of 20 teams to score, 9 have scored.

Probably shows the ratio of referees v keyboard warriors who would never have the courage to referee at anywhere near the top level, in fairness.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Think that'll be the first and last time Simon Hooper referees a premier league game.
All round shambles let alone the ridiculous decision to disallow the goal.
A real shame that he's the talking point and not a very good game of football

He couldn't referee championship games correctly. How he is in the premiership really does baffle the mind it really does.
