Winning ugly is still winning. But shouldn't United have turned a corner under LVG by now?

Good to see Lukaku going to apologise for hitting a saints fan in the warm up.

Yes but our main striker is dog Poopie and ruins most attacks, plus we've no decent centre half and our goalkeeper is leaving - uncertainty at the back and no dynamism up front- ball control, rigidity and winning ugly is our mo this season.

Stop it you WUM. Sunderland Yes, Newcastle No. Don't get all cocky son, because you've beaten one of the worst sides in the league, it's pretty much inevitable, you will be on the same sinking ship as Dick's men this season.

Smalling is more than decent.
Rooneys always struggled for consistent form though, and now his main backup is a guy you pretty much gave up on a year earlier. I don't get it.

That's a second yellow.
Would have been very soft but it isn't for the referee to make up for a players stupidity.

In vitally important news, Ivanovic was banging the team doc.
In less important news, Citys defense looks tasty.

At least Ivanovic has better taste than Joe Hart... (Is Joe Hart's thing still subject to a court injunction but viewable to everyone on Twitter? If it is, sorry moderators!)
And Palace mugged of a point by a referee who failed in his duty.

Navas is the posterchild for overrating players because they're foreign. Really is no better than an Aaron Lennon type.

I feel as though given hes a reasonably good looking footballer for a big club, picking up fit birds wouldn't be a major challenge for Ivanovic.

She's not that great, she's 41, a footballer can basically get any model in the world, who makes Eva look pretty average.
As for Chelsea, no spark & look flat.

Jose's already gone to excuse B, claiming Chelsea won't shake off a busy preseason until September. Either way, summer inactivity may harm another title winner.

1-0 to City at half time, Chelsea haven't turned up and Aguero should've finished this game already.

This game is absolute rubbish and epitomises everything wrong with modern football.

2-0 Kompany, that'll probably do it on the basis of Chelsea's performance thus far

Ivanovic has never been an assured defender. No surprise he can't beat Kompany in the air, he's weak at fundamentals.

A cynic would suspect theres a correlation between the team doctor being banished from the bench as they sign a new full back.
