First topic message reminder :

Now the season is over, the rumours begin!

Milner/Ings to Liverpool seems likely.
Benitez to Real Madrid, Bale staying.
Falcao is desperate to move to Chelsea.
Otamendi and Dani Alves to Manchester United.
Raheem Sterling to Arsenal

What else?

Strong rumours on both. Not sure why you would be against these two, Phillips was very good for QPR last season & we need geniune full backs & Mings is a talent & brings youth to our ageing backline.

I'd agree with LiamB. Need some youth in that backline and Phillips is also a pacey winger who has shown talent. Won't break the bank.

Tyrone Mings is very overrated it has to be said. Didn't see him play well against us, and whenever i have seen Ipswich on the telly.

Seems the list of players West Ham want is:

Payet, Song, Austin, Jenkinson, Alderweireld and Cabaye. Austin and Alderweireld are apparently hotly contested transfers. I'd expect us to get neither, and probably only Jenks and Payet from that list.

You may have missed it, but we don't play with wingers. It's 4 CBs, 4 CMs, 2 STs, or sometimes 5CMs. Pulis wouldn't know what a pacy winger was if he was a left back up against Walcott and Lennon.

Yes, they did sooooooo well under Pulis. No, wait, they didn't. At both Stoke and Albion Pulis has been in the top 3 of the long balls table every single season. He doesn't like wingers.

Reports that WBA agree fee with Wigan for James McClean. Stoke agree fee and deal for Joselu of Hannover. QPR cannot buy non-EU players till a case over Sandro is resolved.

We spent £5m on Callum McManaman then never played him, why are we buying more wingers with no chance of game time? #PulisLogic

Trippier a strange one when you consider Spurs brought Yedlin in January, and he's hardly featured. I suspect he'll be off shortly.

Southampton are interested in Jenkinson, as a potential replacement for Clyne.

Some interesting reports from the Di Marzio site. He's got Arsenal as favourites to sign Kondogbia, saying that Inter and Milan are looking at alternatives. They also believe Frankfurt keeper Kevin Trapp will join PSG.

I would take that if I was Liverpool. If City are saying that's their final offer then I doubt Chelsea will offer any more. Take the money and this time, spend it wisely and they could get two decent players in.

£3.5m+ adds in the slightly Saville deal for Martin Odegaard seems a steal when you need to pay ten times that four years later after a few okay seasons.

Laugh Shocked

a season in the reserves for roberts, then they will claim he's come out the new city development programme, no doubt. comical this now desperate path for english talent they have to go down because of the quota.

sterling isnt useless, he's a very good player, with incredibly pace to support silva & aguero. he has his flaws, like his finishing & lack of composure, but it's still a good signing. it still doesnt bridge the gap to chelsea though

i'd expect delph's loyalty will be really tested, why stay at villa, when you can get huge money & trophies at city.

Micah signs on a 4 year deal at Villa. West Ham close to a deal on Song, but apparently wanted him for free and Barca want £5m-6m. Bargain, although I'm guessing its cos his wages are big.
