I have asked people to be nice. I have asked people to stay on topic. Everyone knows the forum rules and the proper channels to take.

Yes, there is a time for tolerance and there is a place for humour. But when I specifically ask for a period of good behaviour, then posters must take note of that. Then things can settle down, people can calm down and normal service (whatever that is) can be resumed.
