I did do a bit of digging on him and whilst he’s a solid tackler and has played a lot this season in a left wing role I think it’d have been a big ask to then patrol the whole flank. Apart from that there wasn’t much else to be down on, VDW I’m not a big fan of but others maybe.

A good game Viva, I suspected you'd play a 4ft 7in, 6stone midfield and luckily for me I was proven right. I'm sure with Bender back you'll have better results for the rest of the season.

I didn't really rate VDW either but injuries have been very unkind to me these past two weeks. Have brought in a replacement but I'm still looking at strengthening the Right-Back position.

Talking of injuries, when will we have them for this week?

I'm on holiday from Tuesday until the following Monday, so might get two weeks worth of tactics in before I go, but won't be around for deals etc

I'm the voter this week so I'll give you all a heads up on what I'm looking for in tactics cuz I'm a nice guy and all.

1. Swearing, and lots of it. If you can find some unfiltered swear words you get bonus points.

2. Tactics that say :try and break messi's leg will be realistic. Messi will have a broken leg, but the player will also be sent off.

3. Bribing is ALLOWED. Nudes will also suffice.

I hope my breakdown of Tactics has been most pleasant guys.

Marky did state that once he got a yellow he'd swap him with Martinez. Pepe in RL has dramatically improved in behaviour of late, his card tally this season has really dropped.
He could well though scythe Messi in half though.

Well played miky. You deserved the win although Turan scoring against me hurts me right in the feels more.

Afro are you gonna retake control over Porto? CF has rekt them and it's upto you to return them to their former glory. Believe and you can achieve!

We have a random yellow card system on ja, could be done on here with a random side getting a red card? It wouldn't affect the result per se but would be a two game ban or something?

Porto should be the most tempting job in the league to be honest.

With Real, Barca, Bayern, you are expected to win and can only damage your reputation as a pretend manager.

Porto were already miles behind everyone before it even started (think at time I said something like £80m worse off in terms of player values + cash than the next worse team. Put it this way, you would need to spend something like 3 and a half seasons worth of weekly bonuses just to catch up with the team above, and that is with them spending nothing. Add in CF spunking all the budget on Casillas!

The only way is up and anyone who can be successful with them would get serious kudos and a guaranteed jump up in Viva's top 10 list

Think you probably need to write off this season and probably even next. It's going to take that long to make them competitive!!

And the added difficulty is you are trying to get parity with teams already containing the best players. The choice of who you can go out and buy to match that level is limited.

You are going to need to be a really good domestic deal negotiator and good at playing hardball.

Falcao used to score all his goals against lower division Portuguese teams, lower La Liga teams and in Europa League.

He then had that one purple patch which included the hat trick v Chelsea and he was suddenly world class.

Think he wasn't as bad as his time United, but never as good as he was made out to be

He isn't going to win many aeriel battles, but when he does head his technique is good
