It's F2P with microtransactions if you like, but the numbers on PC are still high and the console versions have sold well I believe. Certainly very busy online last night, hundreds of people swarming round at the start of the game. I saw one guy die in the first fight, he either couldn't read the tutorial on the screen or had no hands.

Guys I've just had an invoice from a company called CF Asset Finance Limited. Seriously? That's never getting paid.

I am indeed a manager, between 40-50 staff on any given day. However if I found anyone on v2 I'd have to leave myself as I'm sure the IT team wouldn't be amused. Not to mention, they'd see how much time I spend on here

ESO has sold well, especially for a game that was released more than a year ago on PC. Funnily enough I've seen no-one give the game back, nor have I heard of anyone doing so. You wouldn't get a refund anyway so it's codswallop

I have more than 40 friends on XB1 and not a single one has played Witcher 3. It got good reviews on Day 1 but after a week people were bored, as they were with Destiny. Funnily enough, that was another game where the hype led to huge sales but also led to massive disappointment and disillusionment with the industry. Some games get massive hype and are great (Titanfall, Last of Us), some get huge hype and are average (Diablo 3, Witcher 3, Destiny), some get no hype and are excellent (ESO, Dragon Age Inquisition), while some get no hype and are crud (Child of Light).

As for XB1 being an inferior console, you still believe that, even after all this time? XB1 has monthly updates, better apps, better games, exactly the same performance, and more capacity to improve in the future. Sony released a box that can play games now but in 3 years time will be woefully inequipped to deal with the games being produced. It's already falling behind. You can throw sales numbers at me all you like, but The Bible is the best-selling book of all time and you can't find anyone who thinks it's still a good read.

I got away lightly cheers for that. Got decent replacements for my injuries

Azzy who made you the king of knowing everything? Just because you don't know anyone that didn't give it back does not mean nobody gave it back.

I know at least 5 people in real life that gave the game back, theres hundreds that I seen on social media that were dissapointed with the game and gave it back. Yes you can get a refund maybe not cash but credit note and buy another game.

If you don't know anyone that got Witcher 3 then how do you know they got bored of it after a week? Once again Azzy using opinions as fact.

Just like the PS3 was outdated after 3 years? Azzy you talk more rubbish than I do when I'm defending United. I'd much rather listen to IGN who gave Witcher 3 9.5, you're the same guy that does not rate Modric or Benzema. Please do not reply.

IGN also down-voted a game due to the amount of water in it. I'd take their views with a pinch of salt.

I don't think that title is decided by committee or election. I think it's hereditary.

So his Dad would have been the king of knowing everything, and then passed away/abdicated, meaning Azzy would have taken over.

Black Flag, a game about Pirates set in the Caribbean. Yes, IGN are fantastic.

IGN have also candidly admitted in the past that reviews are coloured by payments from studios. And a friend of mine once slept with a girl from IGN who said she added 3 points to her review - from 5 to 8 - because her boss told her to make the game look good.

Viva, you can't get a refund or a credit note on a game once you've opened the box, unless the disc is scratched. Believe me, I tried it with Watchdogs. And Shadow of Mordor actually. It's just the same as taking back a butt plug.

You know full well that social media sees 10,000 negative comments for every 1 positive - I could show you thousands of people saying ESO is better than Skyrim, but you'd not have it.

All you have to do to see how bad Witcher 3 is after the initial 'wow' is look online. I can't remember a single person who hasn't been left hugely disappointed with the game after all the hype. One of my FB friends offered it free to people and he got ridiculed for having bought it in the first place.

I think what it is is that you like certain games, on PS4, and any game that isn't on your list is automatically rubbish, open for jokes and beneath you. You're the worst kind of PS4 fanboy there is.

And for your information, the XB1 servers for ESO have held up absolutely fine, whereas for PS4 they've been a travesty. Perhaps you're reading too many PS4 owners who are regretting their console of choice?

Modric I've never liked, Benzema is the most over-rated footballer in my lifetime. He wouldn't get in the Scotland team if he didn't play for Real Madrid.

ESO might have found a nice niche in porting to 360 after becoming the latest mmo to realise WOW has the PC mmo market locked down. Cant really imagine a traditional mmo working on a console pad though, would imagine it'll probably have a shortish life span once the Elder Scrolls novelty wears off.

I put in probably 200 hours into Skyrim, and this game is meant to be 100 times the size. So I don't imagine the ES novelty will wear off anytime this side of my 50th birthday

I think you both have different ideas about what makes the console better. For Viva it seems to be gameplay, for Azzy it seems to be overall package.

Most things I've heard say PS4 is best for pure gameplay, and xbox is best if you are looking for the all round package.

Which suggests you are both justified in your preference, just that you are looking for different things from your console

I enjoyed the PS4 but you couldn't watch WWE Network on it I was 15 mins behind people. On Xbox was like HD

Games wise PS4 probably edges it because i enjoyed the Last Of Us

You enjoyed the port of a game that everyone had already played? The best PS4 game is a port. Brilliant.

I fully respect people who have PS4s and almost every game is the same. What I can't stand is Viva's dogged pursuit of some bizarre smear campaign against a console that even the President of the United States owns. And for no reason other than back in summer 2013 it appeared that PS4 might have better graphics. I've played FIFA on both, side by side, and there is NO DIFFERENCE in gameplay or quality. None, nada, zilch. The game's up Viva, move on to your next doomed crusade.
