Its a compliment. How many times would you see Hazard and Cleverley in the same side together. With Cleverley's superb work ethic and Hazard's attacking ability, "Mourinho's Merseysiders" could be unstoppable.

On paper only van Bommel would get in your first half team. And you could probably have played RVP as he's not been seen in a red shirt since 2014 Whistle

Breitner would walk into their first half team. He is arguably the best player (based on their primes) on the pitch

Laugh Sorry. I think he is probably still better than Fortune even now.

I also like how they clearly ran out of "legends" so the second half team had Russell Beardsmore, Ben Thornley and Andy Ritchie in it.

Nad - that was why I had my doubts, but say Bellerin had tweeted it

Wilshere played against Slovenia, Ireland, Scotland, Slovenia, Estonia

He didn't play against Italy, Lithuania

So 5 of 7. And I do think it's true. He was MOM vs San Marino in the game before I believe, so 6/8.

If he can stay fit, I do think he could do it. If Arsenal sign the players they need to make themselves a force, and Wilshere drives them onto CL success and a Prem title, then yes. But at the same time, he'd have to score tons to overcome the Messi-Ronaldo 300 goals a season conundrum. Or have some weird political movement to make him winner, explaining Ribery's bizarre nomination.

What about the rest of the England team? It says that in 6/8 games he was better than all the other England players. None of them are firemen or lawyers (that I'm aware of anyway).

Azzy - I think you are right. We have two such dominant players that it is going to be difficult for anyone else to win it. Previous winners like Brazilian Ronaldo, Weah or Figo probably wouldn't get close these days.

The year George Weah won it they could have skipped the year tbh, that was a political vote as he was making the soundings of running for Liberian President. Likely a Blatter award to shore up votes from Africa.

Bellerin, what a guy Laugh

Everyone seen the pic of Jack Grealish (supposedly) lying in the gutter in Tenerife? If it's him, I'd sign him to a long-term deal now then make him rot in the u14s for the next eight years.

Good job you're not manager, Giggs wouldn't have made it and countless others. His a 19 years old kid who's enjoying his time off, I'm angry at the person who took the picture of him.

Where has Kieran Gibbs proven himself? Jordan Henderson? Fabian Delph? Andros Townsend? Phil Jones? Chris Smalling? Leighton Baines? Danny Welbeck? Theo Walcott? James Milner? None of them are big time performers. Cahill is a bottler who has only won trophies playing alongside one of the world's best ever CBs. Hart won the league behind Kompany and Zabaleta. Face it, Wilshere is one of England's best players and our only real game-changer. Barkley will never get there, the wingers are crud, Sterling is a mess, and Rooney is past it.

So what your saying is that in 6/8 games he has outperformed players proven at a higher level. 6 games out of 8 isn't a flash in the pan

England are crap and if you're comparing Jack against those shows how much you really rate. Wilshere was a prospect back in 2011 but since then he has gone backwards and I can't see him making the Arsenal first team ever again. Ozil, Cazorla, Sanchez, Giroud are light years ahead of him and thats not including the big signings Arsenal will sign yearly.. Oxo, Walcott, Ramsey, Gibbs, Welbeck are the players that he should be competing against but sadly he is below them and realistically he is on the Diaby/Flamini level.

Wilshere should drop down a couple of levels because its clear to see he isn't good enough anymore. Join a steady club like Everton/Stoke or even abroad and in a few years he may be on the level to play for a 5th club team.

I think they said that 17 out of the 23 England goals since the World Cup have been scored by Arsenal or United players.

Can you name the scorers of the other 6 (without googling it)?

It was Jags.

Although in my defence, I posted the question of the back of a statistic and before I knew he was one of them. I only realised when I checked all the scorers just after I asked the question.

The other 17 scorers if you are interested are Rooney (8), Welbeck (6), Wilshere (2) and Oxo 1

Or Baines but I can't remember England scoring a free kick.

I can only remember Baines scoring one goal for England and that was a lucky free kick in the last qualifying campaign

FIFA Diva wrote:England are crap and if you're comparing Jack against those shows how much you really rate.
You're such a bad wum, honestly. You could even have gotten away with the Diaby comparison if it wasn't for stating that a CM should be competing for a place with strikers or left backs Laugh

Xbox is going to be backwards compability.

My dear sweet Azzy, I wasn't meaning direct competition with strikers but being on their level. Arsenal are moving forwards which means every player needs to be on the next level but sadly Wilshere is regressing.

Diaby compressions are fair.

Both players were talented, didn't know thier best position attacking or defensive and are injury prone.

Tactics sent to azzy.

Good luck trebs. Don't forget the deal we made. I go on your podcast and in return you can't play Messi and Suarez against me. I hope you are a man of your word and keep your promise. God bless you.

Cheers for not playing them against me trebs. As a gesture of goodwill I will also not play Griezmann and Michael 'beast' Essien against you. Two of my most important players.
