When did a Surrey batsman last score a hundred in both innings? Was it KP?

Re: Surrey vs Glamorgan LV=County Championship
Think it was Scott Newman who last scored 2 centuries in the same match for Surrey. Excellent contribution from Baz.
Wilson and Solanki currently batting well but we have to bat past lunch t'row to save the game which is currently our main aim.

196 ahead with 5 wickets in the shed - wouldn't say we're out of winning this....if we can get a lead of around 270-300

Re: Surrey vs Glamorgan LV=County Championship
Wilson dropped by Wagg at leg slip off Salter who has again bowled well without luck. A bad miss.

Can we start a petition to have Batty removed? Certain defeat tomorrow. I presume Tremlett is out of action?

Re: Surrey vs Glamorgan LV=County Championship
Tremlett came out to bat so he can't be tooo bad....
245 ahead - if we can eek that upto 270-300 and bat towards lunch we're well in the game.
Heck chasing 250 batting last is never a doddle...

Re: Surrey vs Glamorgan LV=County Championship
Nothing was said at the ground about Tremlett's availability. I would though emphasise that just because he can bat doesn't mean he'll be able to bowl - remember Fletcher at Beckenham.
All results are still possible but Glamorgan are the clear favourites in my book. I gave my reasoning in my post to Olly yesterday. Nothing happened today to change my mind. In fact, much of what did re-enforced my worries.
PS Batty deserves until the end of tomorrow before any decision to shoot him is made. However, I can understand some posters in the meantime checking that their guns work.

Re: Surrey vs Glamorgan LV=County Championship
An informed poster on the wallpaper site (Surrey Supporters Club - Oval World on the Net) suggests Trem ''unlikely'' to bowl today.
Meaker looked like a rabbit caught in headlights y'day. Feel Batty and Ansari will need to pull some rabbits out of hats.
Difficult for me to get a signal at the ground but I'll post if I can. Off now ....
PS Corporal - I wouldn't be too worried at this stage about making arrangements to open the mess tonight.

1 run added - both wickets gone. Last 5 wickets went for 4 runs. Game lost.

Tremlett is bowling ................ and that's 8 runs knocked off the target in the first 3 balls. Just gets better and better.

Re: Surrey vs Glamorgan LV=County Championship
Trem does take new ball but goes for 8 in his opening over.
Earlier it took Wagg just one over to send the stumps of both Solanki and Meaks (first ball) cartwheeling.
Little more to add from last 2 nights ....

Gonna be v tight if they win it before tea or not, JimBob. I reckon they just will.
In case you didn't know, Tremlett has been off the field since his opening spell this morning!!

Re: Surrey vs Glamorgan LV=County Championship
From 200-0 in our first innings, then having them at 30-4 and 50-odd for 5, to then lose by what will probably be 8 wickets is appalling. I know we're without several first-teamers, but they're mainly batsmen and as well have repeatedly said, the bowling is still the main problem. Only missing Dernbach (and he can't take wickets to save his life) and the Viscount (hmmmm).
