In my head that sounds brilliant, in reality probably fail miserably but we could have match nights and watch the games unfold.

Why doesn't someone test it with this week's round of fixtures?

I guess player ratings would then become quantified based on FIFA ratings and scouting would become an exercise in looking it up on the FIFA database

the fifa ratings are pretty spot on tbh. I would be up for it though. Nice idea hero.

I think it'd be best to trial it with a "friendly" round of fixtures however - in case it flops it won't effect the league standings

Just in the process of swapping players about on FIFA 15. It's a struggle when some teams have reached have reached their max and you have to go back n forth. Interesting how some clubs were going up and down on their star rating.

I think nearly all of us are 5 stars except for Porto and Dortmund who would be 4/4.5.

Just about to test out the FIFA set up, spent about 4 hours swapping players about!
Juve v Porto with tactics added from the recent match and correct team sheets.

Pirlo whistled one over the bar with an unmarked header at 4m
Fernandinho went on a run and narrowly missed at 9m
Neymar opened the scoring getting onto a ball crossed in at 13m
Vidal has shot saved well at 35m, rebound scuffed away
Morata hits the side netting at 44m
Half time Juve 1-0 Porto (Neymar)

Morata looks to be taken down in the box at 48m, no pen given
Benzema narrowly offside springing into the box at 53m
Depay gets the 2nd on 59m after great run by Clyne, Depay skips past Vidal in box
Depay again torments the defence on 70m but shot goes wide. He's then subbed off (that seems to happen without choice)
Neymar runs into the box at 78m, players overlapping free but he runs straight into keeper.
Free kick for Pirlo at 81m, keeper collects comfortably.

With this week's tactics I just had my Juve play Treb's Barca. Juve won 4-2 with goals from Depay, Isco, Neymar and Benzema, 2 in reply from Messi. Barca had 61% possession. MOTM was Benzema with 8.9!

What's this twitch thing you can watch on

It's a gaming streaming service. Never done it before so would have have to work out how to go about it.

I know this sounds a bit dull but could do with playing the same match a load of times to get a broad sample of results. That would give an idea of how much randomness is put into the results.

Also be interesting to know how much difference the tactics make, but not sure how you could do that

My PS4 has a twitch account. Create an account and then the link is twitch.tv/ your user name or gamertag.

There's 4 set styles of play: possession, long ball, pressing and counter attack, then the option to go advanced.
On each player dependent upon position there's then individual instructions, so for wingers there's tracking back, go inside, get in the box, free roam etc.
When I was reading through people's tactics then pretty much most things they wanted were covered. CF's instructions to strikers of score a goal though weren't there.

For each individual tactic for players there's a default of a mixture between the options so if for a fullback there's no instructions to either go forward and double up not stay back then by just choosing the default it'll mix n match where appropriate.

I'll play my game v Olly a number of times today as I'm off due to my youngest being sick and I'll post up my findings.

Secondly I imagine you are but are you setting the console to play as world class/legendary Hero?

I really like this idea and if it is at set times maybe I can help too if I can get twitch set up because I don't have a capture card which I think you need if you don't use the in built console one. I use twitch myself to view a lot but never streamed.

35m Goal! Break from corner for Porto, Morata runs length of pitch before passing to Brahimi who taps it in the corner
42m nearly an own goal from Porto after a shot from Neymar ricochets off a defender but keeper gathers
44m Clasie unlucky to not take the lead with good run into box, keeper saves well.
46m goal! Clasie nutmegs Buffon after an initial save from a Morata shot
50m Benzema nearly immediacy equalises with a shot against the post
60m Shot by Neymar blocked, threat averted
65m Benzema one on one hits it straight at the keeper
71m Pirlo's shot just goes past the post
75m Neymar blows one over the bar with teammates lining up
78m Fernandinho missed the chance to close the game out missing the target
83m Keeper saves from Clyne on break
88m Isco has a mare by failing to pass to clear through teammate
