Cut through all the silly hair cuts and nonsense and Trump is really a quite odious individual. Complete bully in business matters as many north of the border will testify, as you have alluded to the frequency with which his businesses go under without any discernible effect on his lifestyle leaves a bad taste and his campaign to pursue Obama over his nationality/qualifications has one of the most unpleasant subtexts to it you'd ever hope to encounter.

Not sure what the American equivalent of losing your deposit is but here's hoping said fate awaits Trump.

It'll be Bush v Rubio v Walker for the nomination, and I don't think it's a foregone conclusion for any of them against Hillary. Whatever her other qualities might be, she's really not a particularly good campaigner.

We had his "big announcement" on TV in the office yesterday.  It was on Bloomberg.

It really was comedy gold.  At one point he was blaming Mexican border guards for sending in r*pists and drug lords.  Then he moved onto the Chinese for having the temerity to compete on the world stage.  I swear at one point, he was about to call them slanty eyed gooks but thought better of it.

The best part though, was when he got on to Obamacare.  Now, I'm not an expert on Obamacare but according to Donald, it isn't going to work.  He clearly wanted to say the situation was getting out of hand and wasn't going to be a successful policy.  The actual words that came out of his mouth were -

"Really biggly".  I sh*t you not.

I'd be disappointed if my 4 year old twins used "really biggly" to describe something.

People forget that If the DNC hadn't of stripped Florida and Michigan of its delegates in 2008..............Hillary would have been President that year because she beat Obama in all the big States...

She has a huge lead amongst women voters, hispanic voters and of course she did sterling work for the veterans whilst her hubby was President....So she splits the GOP on that usual loyal bloc..

She already has good leads over all the prospective GOP candidates according to Rasmussen......

Of course nothing ever sticks to Hillary either so mud slinging is pointless........She'd survive a nuclear bomb.

She's fought one properly competitive campaign, and she lost it to Obama despite starting out as a huge favourite. She's hugely popular... as long as she's not running for anything. As soon as she hits the campaign trail her numbers start plummeting (just look up what's happened with her net favourablity rating in the last year or so). In 2008 she was basically what Jeb Bush is now (the frontrunner people were hoping someone would rise up and beat), now she's basically what Mitt Romney was last time round (they'll continue to be a pain in the backside if they don't get a go, and the rest is rubbish). Doesn't mean she won't win, but I don't think it's as automatic as people think.

She only lost because Michigan and Florida didn't count....because they breached DNC regulations..

She won those states !!.

He is at times mildly amusing, but realistically, all he's been doing for the last eight years is making racist jokes with an admittedly good accent.
