I don't think Adam is the quality you need to catch the likes of Barcelona. Barcelona + Real Madrid are a long way ahead of everybody in the prem now.
Sneijder would be quality but he plays in Rooneys position so not sure how it would work. Afro any rumours of Rodwell to Man Utd?

However, it is a legit offer - I will do the homepage if you want to stop you getting the emails. Need to make a decision as I have an administrator waiting to create us as a new section like in Luke's league and to stick the homepage as a sticky.

Yeah that is a bit annoying Nick but I guess we will have to make some comprimises. But we can let the admin guys know and see what they can do for us?

Which admin did you contact. Y I Man is about and should be able to help.

In terms of the multimple pages, navigate by using the My Posts link and then clicking on the latest page number against the forum.

The annoying thing isn't the navigating to the latest post Afro, its the face that the homepage is not viewable when you are on page 2 of comments. Maybe an admin can help us out with that....

Also regarding my post above. Is there anyway to keep the homepage/article visible when you move onto the 2nd page of comments?

He has switched email notification off himself - so won't get anymore "watched" topics. Problem is he is already "watching" some threads from before he made the change. I sent him instructions on how to turn them off (I can't do that for him)

Unfortunately we can't make the lead post available on all pages of the thread. However it's pretty easy to navigate from the first post, to the latest unread post, to the last post.

Clicking on the thread name will always take you to the first post. If there are new posts since your last visit you will see a tiny orange icon in front of the thread title - click that and you'll go to the first unread post. At the far right, after the latest posters name, there is a tiny white icon which will always take you to the last post in the thread.

Maybe you'd have to have two browser window or tabs open to see the last post AND the first post at the same time but it shouldn't be too difficult to get to them

Keep thinking I should sign up, but it is blocked at work, so can't get in except the occasional evening. Is it something that you need to be on daily?

I can't be bothered signing up to Soccer Manager, I waste enough work time on here and I want to cut down the time I'm wasting to be honest. People like Randy do absolutely no work each day lol

Presumably it's like Footbal manager, but online and against other managers rather than your PC?

I like the sound of it, but it's not something I would be able to get on all the time.

Never played on football manager but I did used to play championship manager as a kid. That was awesome, wasted many an hour on there!

that soccer manager is ok. Just takes the mick like. You make a transfer bid and you if its a COM manager you get a responce in 24 hours otherwise you have to wait for the manager to reply. I made one on the 26th May and still havent heard anything. Also you can only make one bid with a single club. If the offer is accepted it just goes through, no confirmation step where you can cancel it if need be.

Yeah. I lost a lot of my childhood to Championship Manager. Football Manager is just CM by another name. It is by the same people as CM, as they sold the name rights for a fortune and then set-up Football Manager instead. CM went downhill and FM replaced it as the best game.

He was doing it Nick, but it has gone a bit quiet from him.

You could set it up and then get him to move it. He is moving mine and Smarts team pages over to the new section when it is set-up.

Yeah the 3 minute rule was annoying but I do kinda miss it.

I lost interest in Championship manager when they started making it to complicated, you had to start training, scouting and all of that! I used to like the MSDOS version.

I made a suggestion to improve 606v2 the article should stay visible at the top of the page at all times, despite what page of comments you are on (like on 606). Think you guys could work on that?

There is that option but we tried it before and some people didn't like it. We are discussing it again and may trial it on again to see what people think. If there aren't too many objections we'll give it a go for you
