In the away leg its 1-0 to us through Elliot Lee but Sakho has been sent off, not that it matters

RED CARD: James Tomkins (West Ham United)
44min: Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. James Tomkins and Nikola Vukanac end up scrapping inside the box WWE style and it takes a good four minutes to calm the situation as players from both sides crowd the referee following the incident.
A yellow card looked fair enough punishment for both players following the incident, but Tomkins gets his marching orders while Vukanac escapes with a yellow - having feigned a facial injury for good measure too.

This could be the best thing to happen to West Ham if they get knocked out, far more money to be earned placing well in the league.

Ref has just sent one of theirs off for nothing too. Baffling performance, one of our players just apologised for the ref to the player going off.

Get in! Good 120 minute workout
Some of those players will be lucky to see time on the pitch for us ever again.

Re: UEFA Champions and Europa League 2015/16 Thread
Aberdeen pull off the result of the round, Rijeka are a very good side, particularly at home, did very well last Season in the Europa, think they'd only lost once in 55 home games and the Dons destroyed them 3-0 then saw out the tie 2-2 although it did go to 0-2 Rijeka, they're rated 85 places above Aberdeen, very good result.
Inverness C.T were so unlucky last night, if they had a goalscorer they'd have went through, the only difference between ICT & Astra was the stunning free kick their boy scored last week, he's a bit of a specialist so West Ham should be weary of them, they knocked Lyon out last year and their draw against Dinamo Zagreb in the Europa League helped Celtic secure 2nd spot in the group, they looked a better side at Celtic Park thab they did at Home, Celtic drew 1-1 with them in Romania but should have won the tie comfortably, they did score a peach of a goal but thats all they offered, ICT were in their first ever Euro tie so maybe a bit naive but they hit them with everything, Astra were throwing themselves about all over the place in the last 15 minutes, major time wasters

We'll be fine. We bossed the game till the sending off (fair play winners) and Payet is a notch above most players outside the top four. If we dunk out of Europe than we'll probably finish top 10

West Ham favouring the league over some tinpot European competition = solid win at the Emirates.

How much of a tw@ is Michael Owen?
Talking about this being Brugge's World Cup Final.
He's an ignorant and incompetent man.
Brugge trying to copy Villa's high pressing from Friday, it seems, which does cause United discomfort.

Let's see what hernandez can do here, that back heel aside Rooney has stopped every attack he's been involved in.

An interesting point was raised. Rooneys not ancient in terms of age for a footballer, but in terms of games played he is. Wonder if his body's on a permanent decline.

Some promising signs in there; Darmian continues to impress, Depay two goals and an assist, Smalling continues to be solid, Shaw improving, midfield looks alright, just need a bit more in the final third.

Re: UEFA Champions and Europa League 2015/16 Thread
that's saved us from a poor result, bruge aren't great for
This level.
A lot of issues for the side, the question needs to be asked about Rooney. He has been poor as a lone striker in 3 games this season. Hasn't scored away from home for 16 months etc etc he looked better in his cameo in a deeper role.

It's all about mentality, Malmo clearly can't defend but they never went after them and paid the price. Poor result considering the start, pretty fantastic performance from the ref as Malmo's 12th man! Boyata, Izaguirre and Bitton were atrocious!

Celtic heading out of Europe 2-0 down to Malmo, Need 2 to get themselves in it.
Had a goal disallowed but should be down to 10 after Griffiths kneed a player in the balls.
