These are a selection of the list of the WBA's alltime champions at the weight plus NBA ones apparently.....You tell me If holding a WBA title is compulsory If you never held a NBA......because I can't tell ????

Light heavy - Virgil Hill................Michael Spinks was WBA champion......

Welterweight - Ray Robinson...............

Superwelterweight - Thomas Hearns (Never held the WBA strap) defended only four times............In relation to the official WBA champ Mccallum who defended 6 or 7...and had greater longevity..

Featherweight - Pedrosa..............If Hearns qualifies for "super champ" without a WBA...........How is Sanchez not super champ with Lopez twice, Gomez and Nelson (Juan Laporte before Pedrosa beat him !!)...........Longevitity doesn't count in Hearns being superwelter champ against Mccallum..........But it does here apparently !!
