Aviva Prem fixtures announced today - Pro12 to follow suit?
First topic message reminder :
Aviva Premiership fixtures announced today. Great for the fans to be aware of when and where their teams will play.
Lets see how far the pro12 are behind in releasing theirs.

Transport networks are dire (at some points no existent) on Sundays.
Well, you are very lucky then you are not in Ireland because public transport is non-existent anyday out side the major cities.

Clearly, as I've already said.
The amount of live broadcasters in the Champions Cup isn't that much different to the amount of live broadcasters in PRO12, and unlike the PRO12 the UK&Ireland broadcasters are not free to air.
2 v 7
So your miles off.
There maybe only two broadcasters to satisfy UK&Ireland, but we're talking about the Champions Cup as a whole! Maybe you shouldn't mention the Italians involvement in the PRO12 at all if that's going to be your argument, and forget about time zones. Your argument makes that irrelevant.
Fair enough.

What a load of sh1t. Munster are heavily in debt. Pro12 teams competing with AP teams?
Lame stuff.
Again you lack the facts. Munster is one team, and their debt is not typical of clubs in the PRO12. Munsters debt pales into comparison when compared to some of the AP clubs. Munsters debt is to IRFU, and IRFU will not demand it, and there is always the chance that it will be written off. Remember, Munster is a branch of the IRFU, unlike some of these clubs which are owned by businessmen.
You're losing your composure, Chunky. Losing arguments isn't pleasant for you, but do try to remain calm

Do you think that the Champions cup will be striving to show Leicester v Munster at a time that suits the Brazilian population?

The BT and Sky feeds are the broadcast hosts for matches in UK and Ireland. The fact they show it on channel 14 in Tanzania is not really the point. Unless it's your point?

Would you like me to write things in crayon?
You drone on about two broadcasters in the Champions Cup as though there was only two broadcasters involved in Champions Cup, because it suits your argument, yet as you can clearly see, there is more than two broadcasters involved, more country's involved, and more time zones involved.

But Digisport Romania are just a carrier. They have no say in facilitating the competition. Can you see that?

Scarlets v Dragons
A Welsh Derby
On Friday night
At 6pm. Is that due to the world cup or something?
What an absolute shambles. We really need to get out of this joke of a league. It is killing us.

oh, and the two pro12 finalists are meeting at 6pm on a Friday night in Limerick.

I'm surprised Cardiff have any with the WC in the Millennium. I would have thought World Rugby wouldn't have permitted this.
I note we are in Scarletania on the weekend of the WC qfs in Cardiff. I am toying with the idea of going over a day early to party with my Scarlets chums.

The Dragons' first two home games are on a Friday!
The next three are on a Sunday, but it's like the song says, two out of five ain't bad.

I haven't studied the Dragons fixtures to closely. But I noticed that their fellow Welsh teams have shouldered their share of the Sunday games dictated by the Welsh tv deal. Good stuff.
Also there seem to be less Sundays in general. Also good for those who don't like Sundays

There's no knowing what the second half of the season will bring in terms of kickoffs. If it continues to be a fairer share, then I'll be happy. Actually, I'll be happy with Sunday games as long as we win them!

Why always Ulster?
Haven't you realised that Ulster are in a unique position having only one broadcaster (with a Friday night time slot) to show thier games. Therefore most of Ulsters home games will be on a Friday. It will only change when its Sky picks up an Ulster home game (as in round 11 where its on a Saturday).
What do you want Ulster to do????
Tell BBC NI, to forget the TV deal for the Friday timeslots, we want to play on Sundays because the Welsh regions have signed a TV deal to play on them and we should have them as well. I know this in an inconvenience BBCNI to arrange for you, as you want them to be played on a Friday night, but we are willing to to take a pay cut for it??
Or how about, BBNI want to show Ulster home games on a Friday Ulster want to play them on a Friday so both parties are happy.
If Welsh teams have a contact to show their home games on a sunday, how is this Ulsters problem.

I love Sundays too. Some people don't seem to like going to Rugby on them though.
2 main groups. The religious ones, and the ones that cant go to a match without at least 9 pints. Surely Fridays are much worse for those that live far from the ground.
Other people like to use the issue for their own agenda.

Between the Dragons, Scarlets and Blues, there are just 3 home fixtures on a Saturday from now until 2016.
That is not viable in this country. We cannot belong to a league in which that happens.
We need out ASAP.

Blame your next door neighbours for staging the world cup there (and in Wales - though I think you should be greateful because of all the business and employment the World Cup will bring to wales even though you haven't had to put your hands in your pockets).
On the positive side, think of if Wales does well in the World Cup, there will be kids begging their parents to bring them to watch their World Cup heroes in action at all their home games
edit: if you were in the Aviva Premiership, you wouldn't be playing any games.

If we use the same criteria that you use for bemoaning Ulster, having 5 of 6 games on a Fri (therefore your including two away games)
then there are 9 fixtures Scarlets Dragons or Blues have on a Saturday.
or using the same criteria Ulster only have one home game on a Saturday from now until 2016.

Re: Aviva Prem fixtures announced today - Pro12 to follow suit?
Scarlets between now and 2016
6 home games
Fri 3 sat 2 sun 1
Ospreys
4 home games
sat 3 sun 1
Blues
3 home games
fri 1 sat 1 sun 1
Dragons
fri 2 Sunday 3
For comparison
Leinster fri 4 sat 2
Munster fri 2 sat 2 sun 1
Ulster fri 4
Connacht fri 3 sat 3
Glasgow fri 3 sat 2 sun 1
Edinburgh fri 4 sat 1 sun 1
So overall it appears fairly fair,
Provinces don't have a TV deal that includes Sundays and hence only play when Sky wish them to.
For Scottish and Welsh teams it looks to be fairly evenly spread, except for Dragons who are in the unfortunate position of ground sharing (so have limited Saturdays) and being the region TV schedules are most likely to push to a Sunday.

Fairly Fair!!!!!!!!!!????
A bleeding disgrace if it is. Sure isn't fairly fair a double positive, which means it's more than likely a corrupt and corrosive criminal negative!
The farce continues.....

That is not viable in this country. We cannot belong to a league in which that happens.
We need out ASAP.
You simply don't care do you.
No one cares.
The level of apathy for this diabolic competition is beyond the scale. It is now unviable for the welsh regions.
