5) Replies should only address the points of a post. Do not make personal attacks on posters whose points you disagree with. Debate the point not the poster. Moderators and/or Admins have the right to decide what constitutes a personal attack.
Ironically brought to my attention by one of the least self-aware posters we have on this site, but all the same relevant here.

I can't remember the last time I insulted a poster.
You hurt me sometimes.

I can't say i'm going to miss him, he had an obsession with the clubs of every poster and was relentless in his criticism of everything especially LVG. I discuss my club and my clubs rivals, I don't tend to critique clubs that do have the same goals as us and I have to say I didn't even know he supported West Brom until they won a few games near the end of last season.

We should get Austin in.
Sherwood and Ramsey are buddies, can come to some deal.
We could offer a few players on loan.
Bennett, Steer, Richardson, Sanchez, N'Zogbia, for example.

Injured.
On Liam. If I see someone make a stupid point like Cillesen not being good enough because LVG preferred someone else in a penalty shootout, I'm going to call it stupid. He had a habit of making stupid posts

I leave for a day and Liam hands in his post of resignation. Is there or is there not a raffle on how many days till he returns? I'll PM the person running it.
Anyway, conflicting thoughts on Illara to Liverpool. Modric is 32 now, so Illara is one or two seasons away from being a regular. Hope we loan him, or at least use the dreaded buy-back.
Benzema to Liverpool also one which seems worrying. Love Benz. Fantastic footballer, but I'm also intrigued to see how he'd do when he isn't the side kick.

The cynic in me says scores 5 goals, injured for a few months then trains with the reserves because whoever replaces Freedman doesn't fancy him

Cant see any other reason why he would be left out.
Annoying that it has got to the day before the season starts, and his future is still up in the air!
Losing faith in LVG's transfer dealings to be honest!

Solomon Rondon having medical ahead of 15 million move to Albion. Gnabry confirmed. Excellent stuff!
Re: Summer Transfer Window Thread 15/16
£15m is certainly a statement from WBA, not sure why they didn't offer on Austin though?

I'd like to see Hooper replaced but think that Grabban will surprise a few this season. Think he's a good player, will score 10+ goals (fitness depending)

3 dislocations in 12 months before that & surgery on his shoulder in 2014. Apparently has some knee issues too. He also failed a medical at Hull
Brucy Quotes...
“It’s an awful situation we find ourselves in but the medical is not great, so it looks as if it is a non-starter at the moment.
“It is a blow for him and a blow for us but these medicals are so stringent and obviously he has got a problem.”

Gone from links to Doumbia, Hernandez, Llorente and Austin to trying to sign Jimenez on loan because Carroll is close to fitness. A moron would care about Carroll being close to fitness. And it even looks like Jimenez is gonna turn us down and our alternative? Jela-f***ing-vic.

We'll be fine, there are at the very least 5 teams worse than us. Honestly a lot of talk for a team with absolute no players worthy of playing in the premier league except your keeper!

Think you may be pleasantly surprised when Lewis Grabban bangs in his 12th goal of the season from a Nathan Redmond cross on February 13th 2016

Don't get me wrong, pace abusing people on Fifa will be ace with Rondon + Berahino, but for a club that has for so long prided itself on sound financial management, this is an absurd move.

To be honest, that Berahino/Rondon strike force is more than likely going to keep WBA in the league & seeing as surivival this year is double as important for next years TV money, it's worth it. £100k a week is basically average nowadays for PL players. Olly, not sure why you're laughing either

Re: Summer Transfer Window Thread 15/16
Because it's a dreadful dreadful move. Paying that amount of wages isn't the average thing to do either. Basically putting all their eggs in the wrong basket imo.

Re: Summer Transfer Window Thread 15/16
I've seen Rondon several times, and would rather we play Berahino-Lambert up top. However, as with the Lambert signing, £15m + £100k per week on Rondon means we'll hopefully never see Victor Anichebe in an Albion shirt. I'd sign Malcolm Christie for £24m if it meant Big Vic never dons our colours again.

And now I read we're supposedly after Seydou Doumbia. Who is old enough to be Victor Anichebe's grandad.
