[solved]The Music Cup 2015 - Vote Now! Round 1

First topic message reminder :

The nominations have come in and it's a wide range of musical tastes that have been chosen.

To clarify on voting, please vote for your favourite THREE songs rather than just one, this is to ensure that those that vote for themselves also choose other nominations.

Other thing that I wanted to do differently to the Culture Cup is the hanging around between voting and the sending in of your next round choices so in that respect...

Round 2 Fish & Chips!

Please send me your three song choice in which either the artist or title mentions a type of food.

Then as soon as the voting is over in this round we can crack on with the next one!

I think music is my worst type of media. I'll be delighted with a top ten finish here, my first one is alright.

Never liked oasis but if you want to win that's anyone's obvious choice

Don't worry Stella, the Culture Cup III will be back. Before the end of the Music Cup by the looks of it.

Exactly Jeff. Hero was one of the more persistent critics of the Culture Cup pace.

Not so vocal now.

Hero is on holiday but he sent me an incomplete list.

Before you judge anyone, walk a mile in their shoes, that way if they get offended, you will be a mile away, and have their shoes...

I'd advise you to check it is not raining before you walk a mile in my shoes.

I appreciate 3 songs on this list. And I voted for one as I was f*cked if I was gonna read a rambling post from Hero. Whoever picked In My Life got my support, and apologies to the pickers of Lust For Life and Suicidal Thoughts who are both deserving of a vote more but Hero turned off vote cancel.

Equally, I would have no problem if the person who picked Oasis got hit in the face by a tramp with open sores tomorrow.

A tramp who just so happens to have the punching power of a 22 year old Mike Tyson would be preferable.

On behalf of all band members (except our kid, who's mostly still being a knob) I'd like to thank the members and contributors of 606v2 for proving that we are still musically important 20 years on by getting roughly (and currently a market leading) 9% of the vote.

Musical importance is one of the goals we set ourselves when trying to rip off the Beatles all those years ago. Along with consumption of too many narcotics and an over inflated sense of self.

It's nice to know we have achieved such levels of musical importance and have gone some way towards making our music "Live Forever" (ah ha).

Where is the properly formulated league table, with numbers and sections in bold? Where is the witty, incisive and informative synopsis of the opening round?

Securing second place has really, really made me regret my choice for the next round. I will secure zero points.

Ironically, Tino was the first person to submit his selections. If only you were this keen whilst running things.

Hero asked me to look after the cup, not come up with funnies. Screw you and extra work.
