Southpaw : SPOILER

Great movie! Well, maybe for my small mind.

Reminded me of an interview Stallone gave where he said the reason he hired Tarver for Rocky 6 was because "it's easier to teach a boxer to act than teach an actor to box".
I enjoyed Southpaw but the boxing was choreographed terribly; it looked fake as hell and who decided that hugging yourself and walking forwards was impenetrable defensive technique?

Agreed, but conceptually, it was the most realistic in terms of how they used official referees and the HBO comomentary team.

One of the better boxing movies I've seen over the last couple of decades.
