I have a bath due to my ongoing back pain, I find it helps ease the constant and nagging pain in my lower back.

I am assuming the nagging back pain was due to all the work in the mines when you were a toddler Jeff, so that is excusable.

I have a nagging back pain. Pretty much everybody over the age of 25 has lower back pain.
Take the pain and stop soaking in your own sh*t and skin.

Re: The Culture Cup Round x - Adam is a naughty naughty boy
I have a nagging back pain but unsure if it is my liver / kidneys as always seems to be a lot worse after a shedful.
When I was early 20's I used to work in a warehouse loading those big lorries with white goods. You'd have to stack washing machines or dishwashers etc 3 high. Putting that 3rd machine on top of the 2nd was tough but I became quite good at it. Never in a month of sundays could I do that now.
It was the time when Coldplay released The Scientist. Always remember a really rough but nice (heavy drug user) bloke singing along to the 'awhooo hoo hooo hooo' bit. Good times.

Chicken and sweetcorn is my favourite soup.
Not sure tonight, Seany. Possibly Cornflakes or Shreddies but maybe a sandwich. Some toast perhaps. World is mine to explore.
What are you having? Twice cooked lamb ragu with a red wine sauce and medley of veg?
Or a 4 pack of Orangjeboom and some bacon Frazzles?

It is Friday so normally you would be correct about the orangieboom. Unfortunatley I have gone off it for some reason. Trying to also drink low strength stuff at the moment so fosters or carlsberg.
Did an experiment last night. Had a can of fosters from tesco left over but had bought an 8 pack from the 'corner' shop earlier in the day. They were embossed which according to my former mentor means they are brewed in Europe and are of a much higher quality. Tasted the unembossed tesco one, then the embossed one. Clear difference. Supermarket lager is sh!t

I've got some Doom Bar chilling in the fridge, and some cans of IPA for Saturday. Nice bottle of Sancerre in the fridge as well.
Shreddies really bring out the flavour of Doom Bar.

Not really an ale man myself. Like a John Smiths and a Tetleys but you need to drink about 20 of them to get peed and then it ruins your guts for the next few days.

Same here. Genuinely.
Truss was bemoaning Italian wine on a thread months ago. I was extolling the virtues of Barolo on there. It's a cracking red.
Sancerre isn't my favourite white but it is up there near the very top.

I like a Resling for white. Never knowingly had a Sancerre. May give it a go tonight.
Cider is good for a pork stew. Throw in a few sliced apples half and hour from the end. Smashing.

Had a pint of Doom Bar recently...can't see what the fuss is about. "Insipid" would be the word that springs to mind. "Waste of four quid" would be some others that followed hot on the heels.
Am trying to be positive for the upcoming season but news that Mario Balotelli is in line for a six figure loyalty bonus doesn't help matters.
