Keeper Rules

- 3 players per year max.
- Can keep players twice (so three years total per guy) before forcible release.
- Players take the value of their draft round in the first redraft.
- Players move up in value by 5 rounds for the second redraft, or as high as they can go otherwise.
- If you end up with stacked picks (multiple players as keepers who count as the same round) they build up backward. e.g. if my keepers are draft picks 3, 4 and 5, I would lose draft picks 3, 4 and 5 in the first redraft and 1, 2 and 3 in the second as each player would be upgraded to an effective 1st rounder by the 5 round rule and therefore stack up.
- Undrafted players are valued at round 10 for the first redraft.
- Traded players initially count as there drafted position with the +5 rule in effect for all subsequent years.
- Years of eligibility are team specific, based on the round value of the player when traded to you. e.g. if a player is drafted in round 12 and is kept by another team for one season they will be valued as a round 7 pick when traded in year two due to the +5 rule.
- Abuse of the above rule by trading away a player over the keeper period only to get them back afterward will invalidate the resetting of two year eligibility.
- Once a player has no eligibility left on a given team they will count as a 1st rounder if traded away to somebody else and retained

Well my team just got decimated by injuries / cuts...

Sent out a few trades. Have a number of serviceable starting rb's if anyone is interested in any of them.

Obviously not giving up Gurley and Murray will take a fair deal. Miller, Crowell, Hillman & Gore available.

I'm finding this my toughest season yet with the number of injuries I've had and the way the bye weeks are falling. I have just one RB on my roster for this week and somehow failed to get any of the 3 that I put a waiver request in for.

The waiver wire is certainly slim
Think the keeper league is even harder as people hang on to all there late round draft picks as possible keepers for next year leaving less room for manouver

Tbf I think most people went for Langford and Williams, for depth if anything

i got hyde or bernard sitting on the bench most weeks, would swap one of them for a decent WR

This has been totally brutal this year. I've now lost another starting RB for the year with Forsett's arm break.

And I never seem to get any of the waiver requests I put in!! I had two in this week for Rawls and Allen and got neither!

I'm now going with an RB pairing of McFadden and Morris

1 week to go, but the Playoffs are already done and dusted.

So 3 out of 4 playoff participants were there last year and as per last year everyone else in my division had the worst records in the league!

guys, I got to say how sorry I am for being crap (again!)
in the East and IDP leagues, I generally hold my own, but for some reason I just suck with the Keeper format

anyway, good luck to those in the playoffs

I never seem to do any good in this league yet in the West have had a winning record every year. The Jamaal Charles injury didn't help and I probably look for value in rookies too much. I may have to lok at a different strategy.

Oh, I was hoping they'd get me a few more points once Tolzien came in. Over the last three weeks, two of Sanders' performances would have seen me get the title. The other week, last week, he got over 20 points. Let's go Bengals, shut him down.

That's me set my keepers... just the one this year for me... my team was pretty rubbish looking by the season's end! Only one guy represents decent value at last year's draft position. I'd obviously have kept Bell but need to give him up this year unfortunately
