Lovren looks injured. He also ran into our half, did two stepovers and got tackled.

Kenedy makes Chelsea debut & Falcao is on
I wouldn't want to play against Palace at 0-1 down they counter quickly.

In all seriousness, I don't think he'll be around at Chelsea for much longer.

Dolph, the reffing so far this season has been shocking, that Noble red the best example of that.

Baffling decision. Actually happy its a straight red cos we can appeal that rather than the second yellow.

He gets boring very very quickly, at least Wenger's 'I didn't see it' is consistent.

Haha I told you, that Lovren stepover incident was still a highlight for me and thats our first win there for 52 years.
No idea what Noble got sent off for, really don't. I can see why Mitrovic was off, even if its harsh, but there's nothing for Noble's.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Had a little back and forth with a couple of Newcastle fans on the Fighting Talk facebook page about Pardew. They obviously believe they were well within their rights to want him out. Rather than give him time. I pointed out that constantly bringing in average players from average leagues doesn't help.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Look, Pardew's teams do this. Remember the awards he won at Newcastle early on? Remember the FA Cup final and top half finish he got us? I am entirely unsurprised that his early reign at Palace is going so well. And he's been backed like no Palace manager ever before him.
I'm still relatively unconvinced that defence is great, and there will be sides who wise up to their pace on the counter.

Re: We Go Again! The Premier League thread
Sorry, Olly, but Whittaker was daft as a brush to pick up two yellows there.
What do you think of the decision to sacrifice Wesi? I know his legs are getting on but he's got so much nous I'd have been inclined to keep him on for another 30 minutes and look to hook someone else now - not sure who though!

May well be the softest red card of all time that, he's done two things wrong neither of which are barely a yellow.

Also would like to know why tadic wasn't booked for his ridiculous card waving after the foul - those actions have no place in the game

I've only seen the second yellow and that was a clear yellow for me. Guy has spun him in a dangerous position and Whittaker hasn't even attempted to do anything but foul him. Thats a yellow. All. Day. Long.
