First topic message reminder :

GavinDragon wrote:I don't need to address anything, I am one fan with an opinion the same as you and any other fan.

Sure, but here I am trying to understand your opinion yet, sadly, you won't address a key element of it.

Previously you wrote: "Only sad, narrow minded parochial people stuck in the amateur era mindset would see gwent as something in direct competition to newport." so I wrote a detailed, honest and clear answer as to why that insult is misplaced.

It's misplaced because one club is carrying all of the risk but with only 50% ownership.

Do you think it fair that one club carries all of the financial risk, without total ownership, for a "Gwent" team? Sure, you don't need to address the question but, in all fairness, it will speak volumes if you don't address it.

Don't be homophobic Steffan. That's a disgusting attitude to take. Then again, much like your attitude towards modern rugby, it's hardly surprising.

I answered a question for you, as to why the kick off time is set as it is

You and your crew will only troll it.

Why would a Dragons fan want to comment on a Pontypridd thread?
Well...him and his boyfriend did thumbsup

And it certainly wasn't to discuss the game that's for sure

Reading not improving any I see. Did I or did I not post regarding the squad selected?

Whats going on, Steffan, is that your behaviour and some others on this thread got so tedious, and the reports the same, that I decided to edit out the pathetic little arguments with Rick Astley lyrics.

Its no surprise to me that all thats happened is users have reported their own posts because they didnt write them. Rather than just laugh it off as pure nonsense, they somehow think their argumentative posts should be left here for posterity.

Come on, you've read those comments and thought "well I didnt write this, but everyone else must have been randomly writing song lyrics even though when I replied they hadn't been."

Instead of red lettering the thread, banning/warning or sending out numerous PMs to get you lot to chill out, I rickrolled you instead. Lighten the f*** up.

There we go, it all worked out wonderfully. Sometimes, users of this wonderful forum, everything is better when converted into hits from the 1980s.

I'm sure its lovely, i've recently come to the conclusion that everybody loves me.

Sounded like a cracking game last night, Connacht is never an easy place to go and we kept in there which showed lot of character. Overall a losing BP is not that bad a return.

Admittedly I've not really seen them play yet, but going by what I've heard I'm not sold on Scott and Jackson. Assuming these guys are just a stop-gap anyway until we get some players back (the sooner we do the better!). Apart from that it is a decent team.

Nick Scott I remember a LW fan telling us we will love him, so he can't be that bad.

I thought Jackson has been playing well enough for us.

With our injured center crisis (Déjà vu ?) its great to hear Adam Hughes will be back in a Dragons shirt - albeit only on loan from the Wasps.

tombola selection again at half backs and the back row.

Tovey being dropped for failing to execute an appallingly degative gameplan. Where is O'Brien? Hes not involved with Keys?

Surprised to see Brok on bench and wish we would have Joe Davies included.

Good to see Ollie Griffiths get a start.

Here's the Ulster team:

15-9): Peter Nelson, Rory Scholes, Darren Cave, Stuart McCloskey, Sammy Arnold, Paddy Jackson, Paul Marshall; (1-8) Kyle McCall, Rob Herring (captain), Wiehahn Herbst, Dan Tuohy, Franco van der Merwe, Robbie Diack, Chris Henry, Stephen Mulholland.

Replacements (16-23): Rory Best, Ricky Lutton, Bronson Ross, Lewis Stevenson, Sean Reidy, Ruan Pienaar, Ian Humphreys, Craig Gilroy.

Lot of players missing, injured and dropped, and a first cap for Mulholland. Haven't a clue how he will do.

Not close to our strongest starting XV, but a strong enough bench.

Bit nervous about this one.

The forecast isn't great, so I wouldn't expect a high-scoring affair.

Actually, in light of that, I'm not sure how wise it is for us to have our regular goalkicker on the bench...

At 31 he's still got a good few seasons in him and have always rated him but he just seemed to dip badly during and since last Lions tour, think he would be a good asset and good to have back in Wales.

ref was a joke today, and we were much improved, but the gameplan is awful and we lack any cutting edge behind.

Ollie Griffiths was very good

Any decent attack relies on two players, both of whom are injured. Time for Lyn to go then. Teams under him always go stale at an accelerated rate.

That was pathetic from the Dragons, they are definitely worse than last season, How is Phil Price still playing at this level is beyond me. Today showed how much they missed James Thomas aggression and ball carrying. Faletau looked like he was going through the motions at times and Pretorius is definitely a downgrade on the 9 that left the club at the end of last season. Griffith was good indeed but i think Nic Cudd is better.

4 point loss to a strong Ulster team is pathetic ? Hmmm

The tactics were poor but the commitment was there bar the soft try.

Dudley (the  ref ) was shocking - missed/ignored multiple Ulster infringements.

Was also a mistake taking off Sarel.
