Are we all just sick and twisted manifestations of Trussman66 arguing with ourselves?

That reminds me of the film identity.
I'm a Mayweather fan too and wouldn't like to believe that he's done anything more dodgy than rehydrating but it wouldn't surprise me. I'd hope not though.
I doubt it would affect his all time standings. Doesn't seem to have with Jones jnr and Toney. In fact it's probably about time this forum did a thread for people's opinions on where Mayweather stands all time wise. Can't recall it being done for at least a month.

I propose a 'top 10 reasons why Floyd is top 10 all time p4p' thread.

Here's Deadspin arguing he isn't (while nailing his character):
http://deadspin.com/why-is-floyd-mayweather-fighting-a-nobody-this-weekend-1729562448
"I don’t know whether Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is sufficiently self-aware to understand that he doesn’t enter into any serious discussion of the greatest boxers ever. I suspect that he is, and that it upsets him that history, while not being unkind to him, will wind up placing him among the pile of very good, but not all-time great, champions."
Let the aliases come forth!

Blown my mind and really changed my opinion, relentless article posting seems to be classically conditioning me, I feel like Pavlov's dog.

For some reason I read that as Prov's dog and got awfully confused for a split second.

Haz you're like a dog with a bone.
Just let it go. No matter what you,Hauser and Bert Sugars ghost think, Floyd will be an ATG.
Whether he's top ten or 30. He will still be great and remembered as the greatest in his era.
If he isn't great, then stop watching boxing. Sure what's the point? The last 20 years have been useless.

Great fighter; best of this era but all-time great? I'm not so sure. Floyd fans will of course keep wearing their caps and t-shirts undeterred.
The Mayweather era has been pretty abysmal. I'm looking forward to something new - hopefully we'll get a counter movement of risk-taking, of fighters challenging themselves spearheaded by the likes of Lomachenko.

Floyd did take risks at a time. As did Manny.
Both guys began to choose opponents because they can. As has Cotto.
Lomachenko ha long way to go to reach Floyd.

Lomachenko's already more entertaining and more interesting - that's all boxing fans want. Let's hope the era of calculated, risk-averse stink fests disappear with him.

Like Lomachenko's risk adverse performance against Rodriguez?

Re: Mayweather & USADA
To be fair a lot of boxers would be more risk adverse if they came into the sport in their late 20s with an amateur record of 396-1.

Ffs Mayweather isn't an all time great.
Sure Lomachenko is.
Haz if you're anywhere local, can I come over and have what you're taking?
