Re: WWA Season 9
So obviously we have to wait for Enigma or Nando to announce this but I think that means that both Samo and I get £5m...Samo for the win and me for doing the quiz...I'd happily do this every Monday if you guys like?
The funny thing is, if Samo hadn't had a chance to redo his answers he would have got 7 points...I think Taboo Tuesday was my favourite answer

Congrats Samo! Pipped me to first place by 1 Point! Samo please add £5 Million to your budget for taking Gold and Viper you can add £5 Million for running this week's quiz.
You are not allowed to run the quiz each week as it's unfair to everybody else who may want a turn or the chance to earn £5 Million for their budgets...

I wouldn't mind Week 2 injuries either, so I can stay ahead of the curve and get Week 2's show in place.

Seeing as the majority have already posted shows, I think it's only fair that we try and keep ahead so Week 2 Injuries have been posted -https://www.606v2.com/t60527-season-9-injuries#3162279
Apologies in advance to some... Some big hitters injured there!

We are, but I've seen it be marked down before.
Having a lot of fun with the WAF Roulette Wheel for Week 2.
My five matches for Week 2 are;
A Blindfold match, a Handicap match, a Tables match, a Players Choice match, and a Strange Bedfellows match!

Re: WWA Season 9
Just wondering but do we have a loose schedule for the season for deadlines for each show? I want to plan some stuff ahead and knowing when certain shows can be posted will help.
Will probably post my show tonight, after seeing the shows so far I feel I need to up my game!

Re: WWA Season 9
Just following the same format as last season Viper so it'll 10 Days for your weekly show and 14 Days for your PPV shows... I'm sure you can work it out using the calander.
If we are behind schedule, or if we need to speed up so we don't run into Xmas, then we may change the odd week so it's 7 Days for your weekly show.
Marky - What's a 'Player's Choice Match'? Pick your poison?

nXtreme S9:Ep1 up
Couple of segments might be a touch long but I couldn't shorten them to keep the impact I needed them to be, matches are shorter to make up for it (well some of them are)

World Wrestling Revolution
Presents:
Recapisode
The scene opens in the interview area of the old BBC Television Studios, turned WWR arena. The interview area has been decked out with red curtains, a directors chair has been set up in from of the curtains. WWR interviewer, Funaki, walks into the shot and sits in the chair. He welcomes everyone to a special show to recap on the happenings of last season.
Funaki reminds everyone that the WWR came in to existence, in the middle of last season, the early 2015 season, when current WWR owner, Donald Trump engaged in a hostile take over of the then, Shane McMahon ran company, All Star Wrestling Federation. Trump had bought out enough stock in the company to seize control of the company and buy out McMahon.
McMahon, stayed with the company on a performer contract, he was entered in to a championship scramble and Road to Triumph, where he won the International championship and held it for all of two minutes, when he was forced to tap by both Jack Swagger & Ken Kennedy. Shane never wrestled after that and went on to manager the Samoan Gangstas, Umaga and Rosie.
Over the second half of the season, Swagger and Kennedy held the International championship, simultaneously. Both men with equal claim to the title, then Managing Director, Steve Austin, announced that both men were the International champion and had to share the title, until such a time when they can face off for the belt. During an episode of Fusion, the two faced off for the belt and ended in double count out, Austin would put the two men in a three stages of hell match, a submissions only, a street fight and a chosen by the fans, a cage match. Kennedy won two out of three stages and became the undisputed International champion.
The tag team of Hurricane and Shark Boy, known together at Heroes 4 Hire, spent the season, selling themselves as hired muscle and selling easy wins, taking dives for cash. J&J Security appeared on the scene and H4H felt they were muscling in on their turf and went to war with them over it. At In Your Face: Ashes to Ashes, H4H sent J&J packing in a losers leave town match. After the match, Shark Boy convinced Hurricane to go straight and try and win the tag team championships.
When Trump took over the ASWF and created the WWR, he laid down one rule for Steve Austin; no extreme. When Austin took part in a street fight with Dean Ambrose, Donald Trump made his identity known and fired Austin. At that point, Shane McMahon made his first move. Just after the main event of Ashes to Ashes, Bray Wyatt vs Wade Barrett for the World championship, in a live free or die match, McMahon and his clients attacked.
They beat down Barrett and called Trump out. He appeared. McMahon informs Trump that if he doesn’t sign a contract under his nose, he’d regret it. WWR International champion, Ken Kennedy, Heroes4Hire and the Usos make a bee line to save Trump. The Usos turn on their fellow would be saviours, joining McMahon. With his saviours down and out, when McMahon threatens to turn his crew on the fans, Trump had no choice but to sign.

Managed to lose my show last night so had to rewrite it from scratch from memory...will write the matches tonight and post it before the deadline.
Really looking forward to seeing the reaction...can we make it mandatory to leave feedback this season? I've put a lot of effort in with mine for all you guys so I hope some effort goes in to the feedback you all do.

Re: WWA Season 9
I am really sorry for this, but is there any way I can get an extension on voting to noon on Monday.
I've been away all week with work and I have to travel again at the weekend. If I need to get answers in by Sunday I will, but I will be able to spend more time reading the content if I can do that at work on Monday
Apologies, I expect this request to be a one-off, its just that my schedule has been hectic this week.

I have spoken with Promtheus and have extended the deadline for him. If you let either Fernando or I know in advance that you may miss a deadline, changes are we will try out best and help you out by extending the deadline.
Week 2 will resume on it's regular schedule but we may need to cut short a week in the near future so we don't run into Xmas.

Just so my brain doesn't fail me...week 2's show deadline is the 10th right?
I have my second show pretty much written segment wise, just need to write the matches and decide a few other things. Looking forward to seeing what people thought of Season 3 Episode 1 of Triple X Wrestling.
Another question, will we be getting a weekly bonus for posting and feedback again? Cheers.

When your writing your shows, is there anything that helps you write or a ritual you have?
My answer:
When I write my shows I listen to geeky comedy music like Starbomb or Ninja Sex Party.

Re: WWA Season 9
QOTD:
I write out the matches and when the commercials will be and then work around that, I normally listen to something heavy like Dead And Divine or Every Time I Die and when writing matches I'll put wrestling highlight clips of WWE or PWG on to inspire me for spots/to remind me how my guys wrestle.
When arranging the show I try to keep the formula quite simple, normally won't have the same type of match near each other and if I have more than one dirty ending I try to separate them too.
Apart from that I normally just go with the flow, I know where I'm heading but a lot of the time I'll come up with stuff on the fly and a few times injuries have helped decide heel turns or who gets a push.

Re: WWA Season 9
I usually start writing once I've had enough blasts of inspiration to get me through a full show. Its easier if I plan it out a bit first so I know the key points to hit.
