I recommend the Network. Still on my US account which was started before the UK got it, no point changing over as $9.99 is cheaper than £9.99!

I don't really have any interest in following the current WWE stuff so apart from nXt, is there anything else worth catching on there such as specials around history or old shows Marky? Sweet, how did you manage to switch to the US account? I managed to do that with Netflix but still have to pay the usual currency

Re: WWA Season 9
I only have a US account, was sent a PM on how to do it before the UK got the Network, and it's around £6.something every month so no reason to start a UK account.
I've been watching Table for 3, which is where three superstars sit down for dinner and chat about their careers. Best is the one with Dean Ambrose, Cesaro and Kevin Owens discussing their rise from the Indys to WWE.
Swerved is good, quite funny actually. Basically a Jackass style show with pranks by wrestlers on other wrestlers. Loads of specials I'm yet to watch about rivalries, there's Austin v McMahon, Triple H v Shawn Michaels, E&C v Hardyz, Edge v Matt Hardy, Lita v Trish. All the Monday Night Wars stuff, Kliq, loads of old episodes of Raw from 1998 as well.
With their recent deaths there's documentaries on Dusty Rhodes and on Ultimate Warrior too that I've not watched yet. Loads of stuff I'm yet to try!
And Total Divas.

Monday Night Wars and Rivalries are both excellent watches.

Just thought I would let you all know that, due to personal reasons, Fernando will be taking a step back this season. He will still be involved with running things and will continue to help Jai in a very limited capacity but Tooze will also be joining up with both of them this season.

I would also like injuries asap too as I'm working nights at the moment so need to get my writing done between working/sleeping.

Injuries are killing my show. How am I supposed to build a Kane and Undertaker dominance when Kane keeps being injured? It's taking the fun off of it all.

EWA ANNOUNCEMENT
Be sure to check in to the European Wrestling Alliance: Overload this week. The gold rush tournament continues with the likes of John Cena, Sabu and the Homecoming of Drew Galloway.
Also, we'll have the thoughts of both Bayley and Trish Stratus on what transpired last week, and the shocking conclusion to their title match.
We'll see Dean Ambrose and Noam Dar get a shot at vengeance as they take on Sheamus and Bull Dempsey in a Tag match.

I've taken this to the admin area. I think having a repeated injury would seriously stop any momentum to any storyline. Once we have reached a decision, we will make a formal announcement. We will just be discussing repeated injuries, not doctor's cards or anything like that.

Re: WWA Season 9
So I think I've come up with something that's cool...and not just because it's happened to me... ...Why not have something called compensation?
So, this is how it would work:
If you have a wrestler injured more than once in the season you can claim compensation in the form of a cash bonus.
£5m for a star missing 2 shows throughout the season (can only be claimed twice?)
£10m for a star missing 2 shows in a row (only once)
or you could do it based on how big they are...
£2.5m for a jobber, £5m for a midcard guy, £10m for main event or £15m for legend status (this would be based on what their foreign status would be.)
eg. Chuck Taylor would be £5m, Cesaro would be £10m and guys like Cena, Austin or Bryan would be the full £15m
sorry for rambling...just an idea I've had.
another is that if someone is injured two weeks in a row a third injury is drawn and the writer of that show can pick which two are injured.

Re: WWA Season 9
I think concurring running injuries should be the decision of the fed. If its part of a story that someone is out of action for a couple of weeks then that should be fair. I know its more realistic, but its hamstringing people from delivering their best and puts them at a severe disadvantage.

Re: WWA Season 9
Just wondering but will any ruling made on injuries have any effect for week 3? I've had Wyatt injured twice in a row and having him available for week 3 would be useful.

Fernando / Tooze / Jai - What's the status with this week's show? I can live with pushing the voting deadline back but could ideally do with getting the show in ASAP so we don't push back the show submission deadlines...

Re: WWA Season 9
- Read after reading this weeks show:
- WWR Announcement
In the empty WWR arena, a crowd of reporters have been gathered. They stand on the ramp looking up to stage with anticipation. WWR Managing Director, John Laurinitis, takes to the stage, he stands in front of a small podium.
John Laurinitis
Thank you all for coming here today. I come before you with some bad news, some good news and some even better news. I'd like to start with the bad news, I have to apologise to those attending this weeks show, looking forward to seeing, the advertised eight man tag team match that would have seen, the Usos, Umaga & Rosie take on Eddie Guerrero, Cesaro, Steve Austin & Roman Reigns. Sadly that main event has been changed, in this business, things can and often do, change. The reason for the change is because, Cesaro took offense to Big Show's actions last week and requested a match with Big Show. The good news is that match will go ahead, this week on Wreckage.
Before I reveal the great news, I'd like to take you all back to a moment on last weeks show, where we saw an altercation between four tag teams. Each tag team claimed they were the most dominate tag team, in wrestling today. My brother was a member of the most dominate tag team in wrestling history so, I challenged the four teams to prove it. To that end, with permission for Mr. Trump, I am proud to announce that starting this week on Wreckage, these four teams will compete in the LOD Dominance Tag Team Tournament. The winning team will not only earn bragging rights but also, a very special prize.
Laurinitis smiles and the screen goes black.

Week 2 Update
Just thought I would give you all an update on the Jai situation. He's been having trouble logging into the website using his Facebook account due to a Facebook error which has effected all forums that use the functionality to log-in...
If they can put together and submit their show by the end of play today, voting will be pushed back to Friday. If you don't have any more time to vote, don't worry, just say and your vote will be added to their opponent. Apologies for the delays.
