Re: WWA Season 9
Before I commit to my new formatting style, here is a match from last week in the format, what do you guys think?
Match 1: Singles Match
Cedric Alexander Vs Simon Gotch w/Aiden English
Cedric Alexander Vs Simon Gotch w/Aiden English
- Gotch charges at Cedric but Cedric catches him with a belly to belly, he follows up with an elbow.
- Both men back to their feet, they lock up centre of the ring, Cedric takes Gotch for a sitout scoopslam.
- As Gotch begins to stir, Cedric puts his head between his legs and hits the push up facebuster.
- Cedric goes to the top turnbuckle, English gets up on the apron and pushes him off.
- This gives Gotch some breathing time, both men get back to their feet, Gotch looks to set up the gentleman’s clutch.
- Cedric powers out and counters with a brain buster, English back on the apron, distracting the ref.
- As Cedric pulls Gotch to his feet, he nails the low blow, Gotch quickly nails the Brock Sampson’s Revenge.
- Gotch locks in the camel clutch, Cedric tries to free himself but, ends up tapping.
- result:
- Winner by submission: Simon Gotch

Not a fan of spoilers for results if I'm honest, I'd say make the result the same format as the headline.

I can see what your thinking Marky. The only reason I thought I'd try the spoiler for the result is because, I find myself scrolling up through the shows and see some results before reading the match. The same formatting as the headline does look and flow better, I'll have a think on it. Thanks for your input bud.

I would like a 2 FTs before the PPV, preferably the week of PPV and one after. As for who I don't mind parting with after this week, the Ascension or Cedrick Alexander but, I have offered him to Tooze for Rousey. Once the PPV has gone, I'll happily part with Mark Henry and MAYBE Show & MVP

Really good questions, I feel like 3 and 6 will be the downfall of me
Also, number 7 really made me think. I came up with my answer and then did a bit of research to see if there was a better answer...can you believe that Jim Duggan, Jimmy Snuka and Dusty Rhodes never won a single title in WWE/F?!

Duggan was and still is a name that people love, yeah he was a joke but that hasn't stopped people like Santino becoming a multi time champion. The Great Khali is a former WWE World Champion for christ sakes

Re: WWA Season 9
Which to me makes it even more shocking that he didn't win a title...he was considering big enough to win the Rumble (obviously it wasn't as big a deal as it is now) but not worth giving a secondary title run?! Surely having someone as over as Duggan holding a belt would be a big deal/sell merch?

Re: WWA Season 9
An idea for foreign transfers...
So sometimes you might want to bring in a huge superstar but due to lack of funds you are unable to do so...what I propose is part time contracts. They'd work the same as hiring someone as a manager with a possible add on clause if they fight but instead you'd pay a deposit and then a certain amount per match until you either sell them on your reach their market value plus interest.
So for example:
The Rock is worth £45m...On a part time contract he'd be worth let's say £50m...to hire him on a part time contract you could pay £20m up front and then each time he wrestles you have to pay £10m until you've paid off the £30m.
I don't know how others will feel about this idea but I think it would help out people who want to only bring in certain guys for 1 or 2 matches etc.
what do you think?

Funny thing is, I'm not actually planning to do it...I have two names to bring in and the one will probably cost about £10m. I just thought it was a cool idea...it allows people to buy superstars after the initial rush of trading and lets them pay them off as they go...could do it so that they don't get a weekly bonus for 4 weeks?
Could also limit it to one part time contract.

Re: WWA Season 9
It's kind of already happened, with Ric Flair and Triple H coming in from foreigns with the premise that if either wrestled their price goes up. Brought in as management/authority figures made them cheaper.

Re: WWA Season 9
This way though it's not as steep, you can have them wrestle and pay it off as you go with bonuses. Instead of going from £10m to £25/£35m in one go it's done on a weekly basis.

It's a cool idea and I get where you are coming from Viper but it would be a pain for us runners to constantly check that you are updating your budgets for each week they were used and with it being a short enough season, I wound't really think it's worth it tbh.
Cheers for running Sheep this week Marky - Some good questions there!
