Much prefer brutal honesty when it comes to giving feedback here... I always try to give some constructive criticism by questioning and stating I don't like something mixed in with what I did enjoy when I give feedback in WWA.

Voted, hardest PPV voting ever in WWA I reckon. The quality of every show is ridiculous it really is, ANY of the shows I can see winning and although I have tried to be very honest in my feedback please know that my "complaints" are really me nitpicking!
Re: WWA Season 9
I try not to take feedback personally...I'm honest in mine but that's because if you aren't honest then what's the point?
I can't wait to see feedback but I can already tell what things will lose me marks.

Re: WWA Season 9
Think we have all feedback except from Prometheus & Tooze. If you have sent it to Fernando then don't worry. I need to add feedback for the last two promotions I missed off aswell. After a late night, I just didn't feel it was fair to not to give the shows my full concentration.
IP Checking wouldn't do anything. That reminds me actually, was BayBlader real Thunder? Until last week, I still had a message sitting in my outbox that was sent in March this year. You were also the only one who did any deals with him.Check the IP's if you really think that

BayBlader was real, I have no idea what happened to him. I suspect his depression got the better of him and he disappeared without word in the real world too.

Re: WWA Season 9
- XXX PPV FEEDBACK:
- XXX King of the Mountain III
Out of the blocks, the opening segment surrounding the commentary issue was very intriguing as an angle. Viper has certainly grown in teasing angles with minor details. The match writing quality was superb but along with the main-event, I felt the World War X match really delivered. There’s a great little division there and it was great seeing Bryan pull back the points. Although from memory, the card had a good balance of matches with most if not all having a good back story. I felt the PPV would have benefitted with recaps of some description because I honestly felt no investment in the odd match. Wasn’t a fan of Trevor Lee winning the title either really, not sure if it was supposed to be a shock factor but I haven’t seen anything that makes me feel he’s a worthy champion.
XXX:
I was looking forward to this show, and I feel it delivered, although got a bit hectic to keep up with all the multiman matches. D-Bry getting a win gives that league a fresh breath. Good way to write out Joe by having him be attacked, gets good heat on the heels.
Triple X presents KING OF THE MOUNTAIN
I was keen on reading this show, the opening Battle Royal was a great way to kick things off, it was a refreshing choice of opener. The handicap match did its job and was well written. The 2 on 2 match was fine but it would have been better had you mentioned who the individuals were alongside their tag names for ease of reading. The World War X match was great, Bryan winning propelled him back into the tournament. The tag title match was cool, made out to be a very big deal as well. The World Title match was let down by not being the main event but was understandable. Interesting finish though, didn’t expect Lee to win. The main event was great, not sure it needed the chaotic post match stuff as the Joe/Styles ending would have definitely sufficed.
Triple X:
Another good opening however it felt a bit thrown together and unfortunately there were a few too many names I don't know well for me to get fully involved in what was happening. Well done on moving the main events around especially with Gargano being angry, given that many don't see him as a true main eventer it worked well as well. Match two sort of felt like a step back in the LeRae storyline unfortunately given how much I have enjoyed it, maybe she needs back up? Unspecified commercials...! Match three was well written but can I please have TEAM NAME (People in Team!) without looking it up I forget who is in which team for the ROH guys. Small nitpick but it annoys me! World War C was a great match, Bryan won which wasn't a shock but it didn't really need to be either. Looking forward to how this continues moving forward. Again please put the team members in brackets... another great match though. Main Event 1 was good, interested to see if Wyatt demands the title be handed over. Surprised we didn't get more of this after the match though. Roode is coming! Nice reveal although a little bit of a mystery could have worked as well. Joe vs Styles was obviously superb and both came out of it looking strong... good way to write Joe out as well. Overall a good show but I don't feel it quite lived up to the hype.
Triple X
From the moment the PPV went live, things got interesting with, neither members of commentary in attendance. It was a nice hook that roped me in from the very beginning, I’m sure the random fan who got pulled in by Ryan was shocked and pleased for the seat upgrade. The show it’s self was everything I’ve come to expect from Triple X, although I will say I was surprised and a little disappointed that Gail Kim never got her comeuppance but, that’s just me. Everything else delivered as expected.
XXX
The matches were well written but I found the overall show quite complicated to follow. The points match with Daniel Bryan felt like it was a nothing match and could have been on a normal show - not the writing of it which was excellent but he importance. It was filler.
The ending was good but a shame for Joe to get taken out by mid carders (in other Feds).
- nXtreme PPV FEEDBACK:
- nXtreme iMplosion IX
The Elimination Chamber was an excellent way to kick off the show. I must admit, Gregers really upped his matching writing ability which had that PPV vibe throughout; each match had good build up and great storytelling. I thought the ending of the show was very intriguing, I felt the time was right for Michael Bennett to drop the title, but without being pinned, it leaves the door open for the reminder of the season. I applaud the Chris Sabin Vs Christian match, felt very brutal but I’m not sure how Gregers will keep him fresh for the reminder of the season, the “Triple Crown Champion” gimmick is starting to wear a little thin.
nXtreme:
Sabin vs Christian made me feel uncomfortable. Love it. Sabin came across as a real piece of Poopie which is good work. Enjoyed the end of the EC match with Crewes going the distance. I actually enjoy the booking of the Legends title. It feels like the third tier title but gets enough love to make it still interesting. Im a Zayn mark so bonus points for him winning.
nXtreme – iMplosion IX
The Elimination Chamber match was a decent way to start the show, I felt it was using the Chamber for the sake of using the Chamber though, I feel it needed a bigger name there. Shamrock v Malenko was good, Shamrock looking very good. Sabin v Christian was brutal, and brilliant. Very well written. The Tag Team Invitational was good, made great by NEW DAY! New Day winning was definitely the right decision. The women’s match was fine, thought it was a bit lazy to just tell us it was a stunning 16 minute match though. Jordan and Gable v WGTT was fine, same issue really. The main event was what we all wanted to see, and it was well written again with the right person winning. Great effort.
nXterme
Fantastic PPV by a fantastic player. The Queen/Princess storyline is really itching at me now, I need to know who it is and how the story evolves from here. The biggest surprise to me was that Zayn won the world title, I honestly expected the title to go to Aries or remain Bennett. The other matches however, were a touch predictable but, well written and let’s face it, all of us smarks can predict matches doesn’t mean we enjoy them any less. Also, great seeing APA back together, perhaps in the second half of the season we’ll see them chase tag team gold, who knows?
NXTREME
Nxtreme for me has been a weird show this season, on one hand it's arguably the best show story wise but I've felt it's been let down by it's length at times. This PPV has gone a long way in to improving that by a long way with segments not building up too much which helped keep the momentum going. The PPV itself kicked off straight away in a big way with an elimination chamber and a big name winner, the option of Ziggler is the safe one but it makes sense as we can now watch Crews chase the belt. The show was full of highlights, angles such as Double Suicide didn't quite hit the mark due to me guessing Kazarian from the first show but this didn't really ruin it for me and feuds like WGTT and Clarke and Gable feels like a real passing of the torch type feud. The Queens match was great and my biggest compliment is that I'm super excited to see who the Princess actually is next week. My highlight of the show though once again is Chris Sabin, he;'s the bad guy but you find yourself supporting him, I can't wait to see how Sabin makes Nxtreme pay for firing him. This storyline has been a great way to keep Sabin away from the title while making him the hottest property in Nxtreme. Finally, on to the main event, the ending was weird for me, it left us without any real clues about what was coming next and I'm not 100% sure how I feel about that, the match itself was amazing but I feel like I've seen Zayn booked as the surprise winner time and time again and I hope Greggers can find something a bit different to throw in with this reign.
nXtreme
Woods rolling up Swagger like that had me chuckling. I think that Malenko /Shamrock match would have been even better if it were a submission match. I know why it was written like that, but I found the tag team invitational hard to get into, but New Day Rocks. I think this would have been a very long PPV and I just wanted a little bit more pizzazz at times.
- NGPW PPV FEEDBACK:
- NGPW:
Good show with good pacing and action. Really enjoyed the main event with Raven needing to do something serious to beat Cactus. Cartel vs British Embassey will be fun and I really enjoyed the womans match, Paige vs Kong is a great underdong story. Only real negative I have is the chains didnt really come into the cage match except for one spot. I especially enjoyed the recaps of each feud before the matches, nice touch.
NGPW presents BLACK REDEMPTION
The pre-show was a nice touch to get one of the less important matches out of the way nicely, the opening match between Texano and Puma was very good. The Prison Warfare match was well written, only thing missing was some information about what the structure actually was they had to escape from. Kong v Paige was okay, I felt Paige could have been a challenger for the rest of the season if booked differently, now it just looks like someone else is challenging. The ladder match was very good and I did enjoy the re-introduction of the British Embassy! Adam Cole v Jeff Hardy was fine, a decent match. The main event was cool, I hoped Cactus would win but at least it prolongs the storyline further.
NGPW:
What a way to start the PPV, fast paced and continuing the feud nicely. Puma winning was a good move but the attack that followed continued this little story nicely. Massively intrigued by who the silhouette figure was. I really liked the Spoiler tag for the video promo. Is it bad that I still don't care about The Sandman? An interesting gimmick match though and well written, I know how hard crazy stipulations are to write so they make sense. Kong just beating Paige was fantastic as it put Paige over huge, where do both go from here though?! British Embassy back?!?!?! Cartel vs Embassy is going to be an insane fight. I have literally no idea who the team that won are (as in I've googled them but never seen them perform) but I look forward to the storyline continuing. Cole beat Hardy extremely cheaply, again a great move. Does this lead to a loser leaves town maybe? Either way it shows how you build an upper midcard feud not including a belt. The Main Event was typical NGPW greatness making me continue to care about Raven who I have never been a fan of in real life, however surely he at somepoint has to lose the title... just not to the Sandman! Overall a typical NGPW quality show
NGPW
A great show from the outset. The women’s championship match was a bit of a low point for me, not because of the action or the outcome, purely because the segment with Paige indicated she wasn’t going to win. Every other match and segment was executed perfectly. Really enjoyed the Embassy’s return and the main event, even if my boy Mick didn’t win, it was still a great match.
NGPW
This has been one of the first seasons for me personally where I haven't quite connected with NGPW but this PPV really went some way in making me connect. The first thing that helped was seeing the Second Generation Sinners get the win over a team I couldn't care about in the form of the F.B.I, I wasn't invested as such but I look forward to this team moving on up. The shows matches were well written and for the most part I did find myself getting invested, it was nice to see Prince Puma win the title but the threat of losing his mask didn't really feel like a threat because of how much he wrestle without it as Ricochet. What the show did best for me was set up part 2 of the season, we had the return of the British Embassy that will allow ZSJ to take on the role as a leader after following last season and the vignette for the mysterious new roster member really hyped up the show. As the show went on I looked for flaws and it was almost impossible, Adam Cole is being booked perfectly along with Paige and the unstoppable Awesome Kong. My biggest compliment is this though, the main event felt important, it felt as if Foley was putting everything in to it and with the loss it will be cool to see where he goes, it was mentioned that he was putting his career on the line but without it being made official I'm not sure what to make about this. Overall an amazing PPV with some great matches, if there was a negative it's that I'm not 100% in to the entire roster but if that's the only negative then NGPW are doing something right!
NGPW
I think this was a really good card with a great mix of styles and matches. I’d love to see this on TV. The prison match was a great idea, if it was robbed from somewhere fine, I’ve never seen it. If not, someone needs to book this now! Absolutely loved the ladder match, could see all those guys doing exactly what was written. My only downside is that personally I’m not so hot on Rave and Cactus Jack.
- WAF PPV FEEDBACK:
- WAF - Win if you can, lose if you must, but ALWAYS cheat
If I’m being brutally honest, I don’t think I really appreciated the magnitude of the PPV and as a viewer, I would feel burned out watching a 9-match card that contained a TLC Hell in a Cell, Elimination Chamber and Ladder Matches without mentioning the multi-man matches. That being said, it’s remarkable that Marky did such a good job keeping most if not all relevant with good storyline progression. As a Roderick Strong fan, it’s great to see that he’s in contention for the Middleweight Title and a match against any of Bourne, Kidman or Breeze get’s a thumbs up from me. Very interesting to see Jimmy Havoc leave the Chamber as the winner. Set’s up very nicely for the reminder of the season and teases Marky creating some identity of his brand for future WWA seasons. Overall, great effort!
WAF:
Lots of detail made it feel like a PPV and made it stand out from your usual shows. Made a star out of Havoc and Roderick Strong making an impact. Strangely looking forward to Luke Harper vs Bo Dallas. Great matches for the womans title and the WAF title. Great show.
WAF:
I'm not sure where to begin with WAF, because I really enjoyed pretty much every match on the show as an individual match but does it work as a PPV? I'm not sure it does. Thinking about a real life crowd sitting through this they would be exhausted! Anyways on with the review, a great opening segment and I liked the explanation of how the EC would become a TLCHIAC later on. The elimination match to start the show, it was fast paced and moved on well with the story of these four proving themselves. Match 2 was a great match again, well written and 3on3. The next two matches I'm going to skim though as I felt that both should have been later in the show as toilet break matches (not that they werent well written just as cooldown moments for the crowd). The Hardcore title match was superb though, Harper winning it is also fantastic and I look forward to him having a dominant reign. Following that with the Ladder match continued the superb matches, all three teaming up to take out Breeze was great as well, Bourne picking up the win was completely the right decision as well, also how he won was really good as was Strong attacking Bourne. I would have really liked a throwaway match between the ladder match and the EC in fact one of the two battle royals from earlier would have been perfect for this. Havoc winning the EC was great and really cemented him as a top performer. Lita vs Sasha was superb and a match that I would love to have seen, probably match of the night, the two shaking hands was a great moment as well. The pretaped interviews were a great touch as well. The main event was a fantastic end of the show as well especially with Rock winning, now convince me that Havoc is on the same level as the Rock! Overall a selection of great matches hurt slightly by the order of the matches.
WAF
An interesting PPV to say the least. The matches were well written and entertaining. I’m looking forward to Bo getting his smarmy face smashed in and you’ve set up and interesting rivalry in the middle weight division. The main event and middle weight match were my favourite two. It was a ballsy move to have every title change hands in one show and not one I think will pay off in the long run. Also, not a fan of Havoc winning the elimination chamber, with all the names in there, it just doesn’t feel believable to me that, a man who went through what he went through in the previous match could win. I think the decision to change the 6 woman tag match from an elimination one was good call, with all the other elimination matches on the card.
WAF
Last week WAF pulled off a draw against one of the favourites in WWA and it really got me excited for WAF's first PPV of the season, I was looking forward to seeing how the show would progress and if the standard could be kept up. The show started with what has been a highlight for me in the form of the Progress storyline and while I was a little sad to see Ospreay not walk away with the win it didn't take away from the match which was great. The show sadly didn't carry on with a high as I had no interest in the women's tag match as it felt a lot like filler and I feel that this is also what the women's tag titles will be as it kind of just gives the rest of the women in the division something to do while Banks and Lita continue their great feud. For me the PPV's strongest point was the way it set up the future of the fed, we got some surprising choices such as Bo going for the hardcore title (which I love) and a brilliant feud of Bourne and Strong set up. The biggest surprise for me though was Jimmy Havoc winning both the Progress match and the Elimination Chamber to set up a feud that defines WWA with The Rock/Havoc heading in to the next PPV, I'm holding out my judgement to see how this is done but I look forward to the journey. My biggest criticism of the PPV is that I feel Marky overbooked himself, the TLC Hell In A Cell should have been a highlight but with an Elimination Chamber on the cards it stood out a little less, matches had countless names thrown in to them (the hardcore and middleweight open challenges), I also felt the show had too many segments and although they did work towards building the PPV the length mixed with the lack of formatting made the show suffer for me personally. Overall a good show with a lot of good points but was let down by some minor things.
WAF
I thought the wrestlers were well used in their matches. You killed Will Ospreay! Seriously, that guy is dead now a 630 onto that equipment. Great writing of Jimmy Havoc though, and I like him coming through the later match with the fluorescent tubes too. I like the Andrews reveal, maybe he should have then won that match and frustrated Roddy Strong more? IMO this card is a bit light on star power other than the main event, so I think I’d have liked a few teasers of the main event, The Rock gets to the arena, or Undertaker backstage.
- MWF PPV FEEDBACK:
- MWF - Nightmare On Oak Street 8
Above anything else, I think Tooze deserves huge credit for delivering a PPV Show in half the time everybody else had in terms of build-up. Personally, I would love to see any fraction that consists of Steen, Corino and The London Riots. The Super X Cup and the International matches were particular highlights but I must admit, I don’t know who New Age Kliq are or who their members are and I feel the it needs a feud to draw the casual fans, especially when you have Black Vs Mundo or Black Vs Steen standing in front of you.
MWF:
Good show even if it was a bit short. MWF title rules give it a different feel. Even though I dont like NAK I can get behind Renfrew vs Black. Good uses of all the talent available.
MWF Nightmare on Oak Street 8
A decent opening match, I felt with tag team names you should have made a point of the individual members to make it easier to read but was a good match. The Super Cup semi-final 1 was fine, Paul Robinson getting pushed isn’t bad. Samuels v Brown just kinda existed, might have been a good match but no story and no follow up made it feel like it was for nothing. Mundo v Cage similar but had more to it in terms of progression. The women’s cage match was cool. The second semi-final was fine, Swann v Robinson should be good. Lethal v Gulak was fine. Williams v Steen was fine, but I think you’re a bit blinded by focusing on Williams v Corino instead of Steen. Robinson v Swann was fine, Swann v Lethal will be a decent feud. Black v Hawx was fine, although I think using Steen and Black instead of Owens and Rollins is needless. The New Age Kliq attack at the end was far too rushed IMO.
MWF:
A great show however it was insanely long with the two halves! The opening was short, sharp and to the point which is something that Raw could do with looking at! As with Triple X I'd really appreciate TEAM NAME (TEAM MEMBERS) for some of the teams it would really help. The three short segments again worked really well however moving one of them after match 2 and before match 3 would have helped to break it up a touch. Sha Samuels is a massively underrated wrestler but Brown the right choice to go over. Super X cup was fantastic all night! Splitting the show into two halves worked well and given your lack of weeks compared to the other shows to set up the PPV I liked how you made i seam like such a huge deal. Melissa vs Kay was a fantastic match. Lethal continuing to be X Division champ was great. I'm a huge Doug fan and seeing him face off against Steen/Owens in person would be bloody fantastic, Corino being back is great for you too. I really liked how your top three titles are on an equal footing and presented as being a big deal. Main Event was so good and I like the fact you continue to use the MWF rules, Tyler Black winning was a great move and as good as New Age Kliq are can we please have Black vs Steen? Please!? A good show that I still feel was a touch long but given the losing of 2 weeks due to taking over another roster you set up your second half of the season really well.
MWF
Nice to the point PPV. Even though I have no idea who New Age Kliq are, I enjoyed their reveal and the match that followed. Over the time you’ve had to set up the story, you have set it up well and the pay off was great. With the aftermath of the International title match, you have set up well the picture for the INT title and presented yourself with two paths to take the story down. After Paul Robinson entered himself in the Super X cup semi finals, that match become predictable. The card consisted of ten matches and I feel that the number have matches has weakened the card, some matches feel rushed.
MWF
MWF's PPV for me is a bit hit and miss, while there are more elements that I enjoy than I don't there seems to be a few minor issues that kind of build up to take away from the event. For example I loved that we got straight in to the action with a big 8 man tag match but as someone who isn't familiar with certain teams it would be nice to have something under their names to explain who makes up the teams. I find this is a constant theme with MWF, the roster is made up of a lot of wrestlers who I am only hearing about because of MWF, I know I could research this myself but a few small bits of info about their history in wrestling would really help me get behind them. One of the biggest highlights for me was the return of Corino to MWF, I know about some of his history within the company but I think throwing in some of this history would be good for new players in WWA and also would help refresh our memory as MWF has been away for a while. Overall a good PPV that could have done with a tiny bit more, I will say though that the next month of MWF is going to be interesting with Corino, Black, Steen and The Riots squaring off against the new age kliq.
MWF
Great build up through this event. Really well used wrestlers, e.g. I’d pay money right now to see Mysteziz, Kidd & Robinson. After reading through the other PPVs these matches seemed a bit short and light. Obviously everyone will differ on this, but I think the biggest names on that card right now are Mundo and Cage and they felt buried in the middle of the card for a Tyler Black / Luke Hawx main event, is that going to sell?
- EWA PPV FEEDBACK:
- EWA – Emergence
Overall, I must admit I enjoyed reading the whole card and the Battle Royal was a great way to introduce the show. You did an excellent job building Drew Galloway as a star and Rey Mysterio in his heel persona is a very interesting dynamic, looking forward to seeing how this progresses. Highlights of the show were definitely the Steel Cage & Street Fight Matches. My only criticism would have to be the ending, I felt with CM Punk almost cashing in, it made the Gold Rush Tournament a little less relevant but I get why CM Punk needed to fit in.
EWA presents EMERGENCE
I was looking forward to this show, the opening match shocked me twice, once with Grado appearing and then again when Grado didn’t win! Wasn’t surprised to see Drew beat Sheamus, the steel cage match was decent with a great ending. I was surprised to see Cena lose though. The women’s match was interesting and builds to a rematch down the line. Ambrose v Okada was a brutal match and hopefully propels Ambrose into the title picture for the rest of WWA. Galloway v Lashley was as expected, I know you’re a big fan of Galloway’s so expected him to win. But I didn’t expect that twist at the end with Punk, Lashley and Heyman. Very well done.
EWA:
The show started with a very fun little battle royal, definitely the way to get the crowd into it. And Slater winning? Okay I'll admit I like Slater quite a bit so it was great to see him get some recognition, maybe look at bringing in Jinder Mahal from foreigns to make 4MB? Nice to see Rey and Kalisto continue their rivalry and made Rey look like a clever sneaky heel. Drew beating Sheamus and then getting attacked set up his second appearance of the night. Corbin vs Neville is a match I'd like to see, I know they've faced off before but only once in nXt. I really like both men so again I felt that this built up Corbin whilst keeping Neville looking strong. Lashley beating Cena I felt was the wrong decision at the time but later on it made sense. Cena does seam a little directionless now though. Is Grado now DDP's best friend?! Montreal Screwjob on Trish then which was interesting, does this mean Bailey vs Trish II at the second PPV or have you got other plans? A simply superbly written match between Ambrose and Okada to follow but I felt that this could in turn have hurt the main event as I felt that that was the real main event, maybe a toilet break match in between it and the main event could have helped? Lashley vs Drew was good and was the swerve with Lashley turning to be the new Heyman guy. Punk won the title... yay?! Overall a good show
EWA
A good first PPV attempt, even if most of the matches were predictable. The surprise wins were Corbin and Slater, it is nice to see a title on Slater. The Bayley/Trish ending, while predicable was still pretty different, I expected the Austin finish, having Trish take Tamina and make the count herself so, it was nice that you went a different way. While the other matches were predictable to me, they were still good, solid matches. Your way of writing the battle royal was, interesting and different, I haven’t seen anyone else take that approach and while I wouldn’t do it myself, I like that you did. It’s your style and it works for you. The main event was a good solid match, I don’t think it needed Galloway Vs Punk to close on, you could have done the attack and built a feud from that, which could have led into a great match. All that being said, it was still enjoyable.
EWA
EWA for me have been the surprise highlight of WWA this season and this PPV showed that putting out a great event. The show started well, I loved Grado's inclusion in the Battle Royal and felt this set up him winning so it was cool to see him dumped over as Slater v Grado could be a hilarious feud. Throughout the show EWA set up the next month well setting up feuds for Mysterio/Kallisto and Sheamus and Big Damo. I wasn't sure who Damo was before but having looked him up I cannot wait for their match and for them to beat the hell out of each other. Ambrose and Okada was the highlight for me personally as the build has been so well done and I also felt that Bayley getting the win in her match made perfect sense. The main event was cool, Bobby Lashley was built brilliantly throughout the night so although I saw it coming Galloway still looked strong when he beat him. Punk winning the title was another cool moment, I hope we get to see him in action more and even though it was clear from the first show that it was going to happen Punk/Galloway is going to be good. Overall, a good show with good matches and a nice step towards the next part of the season.
EWA
Loved the ending to this show. Thought the screwing over of drew was really good. My only criticism of it is that drew had 3 matches that night and the final screw job happened after the screw job in the woman's match. This is how a ppv should end - wanting to find out what happens next.
- GPW PPV FEEDBACK:
- GPW – Dead or Alive
Let’s start with the main-event. I really enjoyed the unique stipulation and it would have been a tremendous match had both gone the distance, the ending was booked perfectly in a way where Brock Lesnar still came out looking strong and EC3 remaining how he should be. The Fenix / Pentagon JR feud teased enough to continue this for the duration of the season so this really could be feud of the season if it’s booked right. Recaps would have been useful but some of the match booking just seemed very last minute with half the card being announced as the show went on.
GPW:
The show feels a bit rushed but I know you've been pretty busy recently so I can give it a pass. Very Russo match stipulations which I love, feels like an 2000 episode of Nitro but in a good way. Makes me all nostalgic. Im actually starting to enjoy Team Dead vs everyone. They all have their own identities and motivations, like Dusty being peed at breaking Kayfabe. Its a unique way to use them and really makes the fed stand out. I think the matches all worked despite (or because of?) the Russo stips. Especially the Suplex match. Good way to get EC3 the title without beating Brock clean.
GPW presents Dead or Alive
I decided to suspend reality and read this for what it is, a supernatural themed Wrestling show. The first match was fine, the Phone Box was an interesting stipulation. Eric Young winning the second match by bribery was brilliant. Glad Angle beat Bossman, couldn’t expect all the dead army to win. I hoped Fenix v Pentagon Jr would be better than Fenix telling Pentagon to leave! Muertes v Rusev left me speechless, in a good way. The “I apologise” match was genius. The main event was an interesting stipulation with an unclean finish, exactly as I suspected haha. Benoit’s debut was awesome.
GPW:
Trending worldwide on twitter...! Now I'm someone who previously had Benoit, Guerrero and Owen Hart return from the dead and claim that their deaths were works but I'm finding the "ghost army" a bit difficult to get my head around, although the opening helped to explain some of this. Opening match was a good way to open the show with a street fight to get the crowd engaged and was a fun bout. No backstage segment, VT or promo hurt it going into the second match. The grab the brass ring was a funny little insider joke though, EY won which is good. Match 3, thankfully with a little backstage segment before it, Angle beating Boss Man felt a bit of a throwaway which is a shame. Fenix and Pentagon Jr, are not wrestlers I know super well but I enjoyed the match and the ending was unique. Warrior winning was a nice little surprise and nice to see a bigger name than Big Boss Man. However, Goldust beating Dusty especially with the ending however it said that Goldust passed out due to pain yet he won the match. Just a little typo as on the next line Striker said that Dusty won. The main event could really have done with a promo of some sort or hand interviews from Lesnar and EC3 earlier on in the evening to hype it slightly. However I really loved EC3 outsmarting Lesnar, who lets be honest doesn't appear to be the sharpest tool in the box. A great finish with Benoit as well. Overall I enjoyed the show but felt it needed more bits and pieces to help break it up for the fans
GPW
I believe it’s not fair for me to judge your show based on my opinion of your ghost storyline, so, I’m going to ignore it. That being said, you’ve still wasted you talent pool. Your main event, should have been your saving grace, people would pay good money to watch Lesner and EC3,but, not in that match stipulation and not with that ending. For the second week in a row you made a simple mistake that if you had read the show, would have caught, Goldust didn’t win the match, yet he was announced as the winner? Where were the segments? The one interesting thing, you’ve built over the first half of the season was the brothers story line but, the match did not live up to the story.
GPW
When I review stuff for WWA I type stuff up as I go along and I have to be honest when I read the intro of Dead Or Alive I typed “I'm going to give this a chance”. My biggest issue is how to tackle this, is it a comedy season or is it a serious season using a paranormal theme to use some classic wrestlers? Up until this point I haven't been sure. Now on to the actual PPV and I can't sugar coat it that I didn't enjoy much of the event, I feel that although the caricature of Russo was nailed his involvement was annoying and having a stipulation on every match wasn't needed. I felt that Pentagon Jr and Fenix was an ok match but it could have been so much more. Having Warrior squash Rusev and Mil Muertes to win a title he wasn't meant to be in a match for made no sense and made them look weak and the PPV main event would have been the highlight but the stipulation killed it for me. My biggest issue though was the theme, while 80% of the time it's been interesting I can't help but feel that it was taken too far and entered the relms of bad taste. I felt to having Dusty tell Goldust that he disappointed and disrespected him being one moment when Goldust only broke character when honouring his father after his death, I also felt that referencing what Chris Benoit did ruined the PPV, making light of it was way over the limit and took the theme too far in a bad way.
- WWR PPV FEEDBACK:
- WWR – In Your Face
If I’m being brutally honest, some of the mid-card matches didn’t really appeal to me and as a fan wouldn’t be something I would want to personally see. Moving on, I almost feel the tag-division is a little backwards but in a good way, Uso’s Vs Dudleys would have been a great title match but it’s good to see a tag division with strong depth and the Hurricane heel turn was cool. Umaga getting eliminated early was a real suprise but I felt you picked the right winner by putting the title on Cesaro. Good Work.
WWR:
I enjoyed the show overall despite having a few nit-picks. ACH vs Big Show was classic torch passing booking, and I like Henrys booking. The tag dominance was a great pay off to get nuclear heat on the Uso's by screwing everyone out of a match they all wanted to see. If I had to change one thing I would have put Eddie and Cesaro as the final two but it still worked out. It also seems that Umaga pinned Rosey for no reason? Hopefully that gets built on going forward. I also think Sharkboy would have been alot more peed off at Hurricane for costing them the tag titles, although unmasking Hurricane for a singles run sounds good.
WWR In Your Face – War Crimes
I enjoyed the show and it was very well formatted and structured, my issue with it is apart from the final two matches, it didn’t come across like a Pay Per View, it came across as another weekly show when it should have come across as a special event. The Cage match and the Wasteland match were great and two great choices as Champions. I just think there should have been more to the show than two feature matches (four if you include the Dudleyz/Usos/Road Warriors stuff). It just seemed to be lacking depth.
WWR:
A great opening to the PPV with the continuation of the MVP/Mark Henry feud, I felt that this moved the show on nicely and would have got the crowed involved straight away. Second match was a well written tag match however I felt that Hurricane turning was a bit out of nowhere, I do however look forward to seeing Gregory "Shane" Helms moving forward who I have always felt is one of the best cruiserweights of his generation. I don't really know ACH particularly well but I enjoyed the match against Show, you even got me interested in Show who bores the living daylights out of me in real life now. The Dudley's winning was nice but I felt that it would have been better to have the Usos win to set up the main event more. The Road Warriers was a nice surprise however I just felt that this whole segment was a bit flat. Sandow winning is a great continuation of the Flair storyline which is one of my favourites across any show, even if it meant Kennedy losing (another personal favourite of mine). The main event was very well written although I felt it was a shame that Umaga got eliminated early, Cesaro winning was a surprise to be honest as was Guerrero lasting so long, I was sure that Austin or Reigns were winning so it was a great ending to the show. Overall a very good show
WWR
Straight off the bat I have to say that WWR set the bar high for PPV standard, each moment felt placed in the perfect position and everything flowed well. The show had some really cool moments that built towards the main event and Shane's scheming between the management and his talk about the players being in place hyped up the match brilliantly. The PPV also excited me for the futures of ACH and Austin who's moment together made me look forward to see what happens with the pair. I loved the feel good moment between the Road Warriors/Dudleys of having the two legendary teams raising their hands at the end. Flair's team are great and I liked his comment about needing one more title and seeing Sandow go over is always good. Now, the main event, Rosey and Umaga “accidentally” taking each other out was a nice spot but I felt it happened too early and having Umaga cover Rosey made no sense to me personally. I also felt that Austin didn't quite feature enough but I'm just nitpicking a brilliant main event and seeing Cesaro win just added to the enjoyment for me. Overall a great PPV that flowed well and left me unsure if Reigns is heel or face, it's clear he's working with Trump though so it's going to be cool to see how Cesaro feels about the situation.
WWR
Very well written show. Clear storytelling and I liked the idea of the road warriors being "the prize". It's clear you know where the show is going and it's easy to follow which is a really positive thing. Only criticism is that there weren't many shocks during the show or certainly nothing jaw dropping. I also had to read the final dudleys section twice as I thought they cashed in!

I'm going to write feedback on my feedback later but to the person who said the World War X match could have been on a normal show I need to ask...how many 5 man extreme rules elimination matches do you see on Raw or Smackdown?
