Groves/Mayweather title fights - who wins and how?

So it's almost upon us, predictions?

I see Groves getting a stoppage in round 8 or 9, I think his long rest should see him rejuvinated enough to perform at his peak. He is my favourite active fighter so hope this isn't my heart ruling my head.

Also think mayweather will record his first stoppage since Hatton.

What are your thoughts? Anyone staying up for it?

At his best I'd expect groves to take this if he doesn't get careless or fade too badly down the stretch. There's a couple of if's in there already before we question the 'at his best' bit... given he hasn't looked it of late. There is a question of whether the froch ko has taken something from him.

On the flipside, jack has been ko'd too, he can hit but he's not golovkin.

On balance I'm going with groves, he really ought to be beating someone like jack with a bit to spare... but I have less confidence than i would have had a year or so ago.

I like Groves odds here. But he should aim for a stoppage. Don't see him doing as well on judges scorecards as Hearns fighters have done abroad the past year

Hope Groves wins...Better for the division.

The 100/1 on Mayweather beats Berto 120/108 in a tedious affair, a fight no one is really bothered about apart from Mayweather and some diehard fans.
