The only other time I've seen the swinging gate play attempted was in a Redskins/Giants game when Jim Zorn thought it would be a great idea.

It had similar results to the Colts' attempt last night and was the lowest point in a season full of low points.

Zorn was fired at the end of the season by a front office that had lost confidence in him.

One side of me hopes we tank the rest of the season and get a high draft pick. The other wants us to scrape the NFC East title. Either is entirely possible at this point given the stinkiness of this division!

If I were a Washington fan I'd be semi excited about the future...providing you do bad enough this season to get Gruden fired/get a top 5 pick.

You got some good pieces on your team, the WR corps/RB group is very nice, TE needs some depth. OL is improving, and your front 7 on D is a top 10 unit in the league. Secondary needs work.

The Eagles and Dallas have the teams to win but are flailing for different reasons.

Eagles front 7 is legit, imagine what it'll be like when Kendricks returns! Safety tandem ain't bad either.

Sam Bradford stinks badly. Good job for Philly he bizarrely didn't accept that contract extension!

DeMeco is probably our 4th best ILB.

Amazed nobody signed Najee Goode once we cut him, kid can play. Played the entire 2nd half with a rookie (Jordan Hicks is balling out btw) and Goode.
