First topic message reminder :
Being that the league is going to be FIFA 16 based its daft that we're still under the FIFA15 umbrella. We also need to have a second confirmation on who's in being that the initial role call was some time ago now.
Please confirm below!
I'll make a start this evening on updating the squad lists that have already been done.

Seeing as us 2 are the best fifa players here it would be unfair to trebs and bambino when they'd get rekt by us if we were in the same team.
Bambam could be a sick player, we don't know that until we play him.

Ha, I wouldn't go that far

I say we do a 4 team tournament. Play each other twice and have a 1st vs 2nd cup final.
nadeem-2099
I'm up for a tournament. Make it a 4 star team limit and we're all set.

Olly/GSC/NFL People?
Is the new Madden game any good? My friend bought it and doesn't like it (his often wrong) and told me i could have it for £15. I may take and just sell it on but if decent may keep it despite knowing zero of NFL.

They're usually decent, always one of the best sports games I've thought. I'd buy it for £15, but am a big NFL fan too
Haven't played the latest one, but am sure its a slight improvement on last year, which was very good

So we have teams and budgets as follows as far as I can tell
Hero - West Brom - £15m
Bam - Leicester - £15m
Trebs - Villa - £15m
Viva - Palace - £15m
Miky - Sunderland - £15m
Andy - Watford - £20m
Olly/Soddy - Norwich - £20m
Nando - Bournemouth - £20m
What else do we need to get going? Team pages I assume would be the start, Hero/Miky is there anything else we need?

Looks like it's gonna be hard to play a 2v2 match on fifa 16. There's no match lobbies and the only way I can think of all 4 of us playing at the same time is by using the shareplay feature. I can't believe EA can't implement a simple Frak game mode!

I think we've agreed with 3/4 injuries per week and lawyers will be as normal.
All we need now is everyone to get team pages up, fixtures.

Viva have you used shareplay on your ps4 yet? How good is the connection etc.

Are we doing playing each other once or twice? I'd lean towards twice personally, home and away, make it 14 games
Or is that too long a season

I think one fixture is a good starting point.
Hero make sure you turn the goalkeepers sliders down if you can. They are ridiculously overpowered this year.

If you need some tips on NFL watch films like The Waterboy or The longest Yard to get some info. Goldberg, Kevin Nash, SCSA and The Great Khali all star in TLY

I'd start with franchise mode, that usually keeps me going for a while and will let you build up your skills!

Good games on Fifa yesterday Nadz, played two games, both won one each. The first I won with 10 men after opening the scoring with a dodgy penalty. The second Nadz won, scoring direct from a free kick.

Viva how is life watching United being dull & lifeless despite having the likes of Mata/Depay/Martial & Herrera
I saw a stat earlier saying Ozil & Cazorla have the same amount of created chances as the whole of Utd
He's sorted out the dodgy defence but now can't hit a barndoor.

It's awful, we've got some really talented players that can make us play decent Football but LVG has some obsession with not losing the ball.
Rooney must get dropped, LVG is supposed to be a ruthless no Poopie taking manager but hasn't got the balls to drop Rooney. Possession is good when you're playing a faster tempo in the opposition half but with LVG tactics we allow the opposition to get back in shape.
I rate Cazorla massively and has made the CM role his own despite being a 5ft something dwarf. Ozil has always been good but is only getting appreciated because your strikers are taking the countless chances he creates, if he had Aguero in front of him he'd be hitting 20+ assists a season.
This is your best chance of winning the title, Chelsea are way way behind, United are not realistically title challengers and City I can only see winning the title if Arsenal mess up (I never really rated the 12 and 14 season City championships)
Re: The Funky Bunch League page
Looking at the positives we are in the top 4, LVG has made us harder to beat, hopefully he lays the foundations for our next manager.
Some of our fans are still stuck in the SAF era and expect us to continue the domination we had. They need to face the fact that period is over and it's going to be increasingly harder for one team to dominate.

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
Yeah that sending off was brutal. You nearly broke my players leg in half. I could tell it was you playing and not some professional you hired or summat like that.Trebs wrote:Good games on Fifa yesterday Nadz, played two games, both won one each. I also played bambino last night. First game he won 3-1 as I was getting a feel of his play style. Second game I chose Belgium and it was a close one. My second half Subs worked with Lukaku and Miralles earning a 2 all draw for me. 3rd match was a clear indication that England are Poopie.

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
In nads own words .. he got rekt
Lol it was good games tbf, I have no idea how he came back in the 2nd game (think i missed 2 pens?!) then once he had a man sent off in the 3rd it was over

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
Yeah in the 3rd game Clyne got sent off and the stupid game wouldn't let me pause it to make a substitution. You scored your first goal from the side I had Clyne sent off. Then I had to put Milner on at RB and drop Rooney to CM and put on Welbeck for Wilshere. But what I did notice about you bambino is that you play for penalties Everytime you dribble into the box i "foul" you and I give the stupidest penalties away.

Fifa 16 is so good I won't be buying 17. It's the best Fifa game since 99, and the best footy game since Pro Evo in about 2001. It suits me perfectly - zero pace abusing.
