Being that the league is going to be FIFA 16 based its daft that we're still under the FIFA15 umbrella. We also need to have a second confirmation on who's in being that the initial role call was some time ago now.
Please confirm below!
I'll make a start this evening on updating the squad lists that have already been done.

Why have you got Wenger on the meme? Last person ever I'd take advice on European Football.

How do you feel about United getting knocked out in the group stages viva? I think it's a blessing in disguise personally. Imagine if they came up against Real Madrid in the next round, United would have gotten smashed and the young uns like Depay and Martial would have choked in the biggest match of their lives.

It's too easy to take the urine out of United and LVG. I'm only doing it because nando's not here to. Although my above post is my humble opinion. It's ok trebs, I'm not after your fancast hosting position yet

Like all United fans I am disappointed, we should have made the last 16 especially with the group we had. To be honest I wouldn't mind playing Real. You've got an average manager who'd get hyped up because of the occasion of playing United and would lose. I don't fear Real, you got your backsides handed by Barca. We'd suffocate you to death, Ronaldo would start moaning and we'd finish you off with a Juan Mata goal. I doubt Martial or Depay would bottle it they've played better teams then your sorry bunch.
I'd be worried if we got your rivals Atletico.
Re: The Funky Bunch League page
Rafa Benitez has taken Real Madrid backwards. I couldn't help but facepalm when a Liverpool fan I know on Twitter was sticking up for Benitez because he's been the manager for both of the only 8-0 wins in the Champions League (Liverpool 8-0 Besiktas and Real Madrid 8-0 Malmo), even though it's clearly obvious Real Madrid beat Malmo 8-0 DESPITE Benitez in charge.

I could manage real Madrid better than Benitez - starting Modric/Kroos behind James/Bale/Ronaldo/Benzema against the best passing side in the world? Utter madness management

They signed Kovacic in the summer and could have easily played him with Kroos and Modric, with 3 of Bale/James/Benzema/Ronaldo up top.

I wouldn't mock them anyway Nadeem, This is their level. I wouldn't be surprised to see them get turned over by Bournemouth.
Plus we're only go out in the last 16 anyway I don't see the point of mocking cos unless you win the whole think it's utterly pointless to mock.

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
You were right nando about Bournemouth vs United
The champions league draw has brought some similar matchups again.
• PSG v Chelsea - Close one but I think PSG will edge it.
• Arsenal v Barcelona - This barca team looks unstoppable atm. Think they'll easilly win.
• Juventus v Bayern Munich - Bayern will edge it for me.
• PSV v Atletico Madrid - Atletico should go through.
• Benfica v Zenit - Benfica.
• Dynamo Kiev v Manchester City - City should but will probably Frak it up.
• Gent v Wolfsburg - Manchester Uni....... sorry Wolfsburg should win
• AS Roma v Real Madrid - The Italian Stallions will get rekt. Totti will bow down to the greatness of the BBC!

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
Nando is right, this is our level at the moment. Too many United fans have been spoilt with success it's ridiculous. I had one idiot on Twitter saying Real Madrid fans are "elite" because they know what they want (Sacking Rafa).
I'm getting sick and tired of these United fans who can't support our club because we're not winning anymore. I'm #LVGIN he got us top 4 last season, yes he has spent a lot but I believe hs will create strong foundations for our next manager.
Where are all the Klopp lovers? I wanted to throw up with all the love in from the media. Where is your Messiah now?
Nadeem your boys got dealt with last night, I wouldn't go talking slick with me boyo. I don't rate 99% of your team.
Navas = Decent keeper nothing special
Danilo = Why did you sign him?
Ramos = I wouldn't class him as a CB not for me when I grew up watching proper CB
Pepe = Thug shouldn't be playing Football
Marcelino = Would get torn to bits by any half decent winger who attacks him
Kroos = German Tom Cleverley, passes the ball sideways occasionally plays a sexy pass
Modric = Used to rate him, finished player now
Rodriguez = Madrid are killing him will finally be able to show his greatness when he joins United (According to Olly)
Bale = Typical British player does not have the skills to play abroad, should come to United
Benzema = Poor mans Giroud, has a fake top player reputation and I have lost all respect after the Valbuena scandal.
Ronaldo = No team player, lost that spark he had at United all downhill for him now.

I still maintain Pochettino would of been a better choice of manager then LVG, You have a sh*t load of pace and strong midfield when fit would suit his pressing style and still allow Carrick to control the game.

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
I reckon after Moyes United wanted to go with a manager with experience and a name. I do like the work he is doing at Spurs.
Re: The Funky Bunch League page
That is a contradiction in terms mate - how can he be the German Tom Cleverley if he plays sexy passes on occasion? That's like saying Lionel Messi is the Argentinian Aaron Lennon, runs a lot and occasionally scores a goal or two.FIFA Diva wrote:Kroos = German Tom Cleverley, passes the ball sideways occasionally plays a sexy pass

If you mean Grame Carrick, Michael Carricks brother then yes.
Wilshere is finished as sad as I am to say that it's true, his still living on that Barcelona game. His not good enough for Arsenal the side has moved on but Wenger will always show faith in him. I'll extend Wilshere winning the team Balon Dor till 2030.

I think it's unlikely the fifa league is gonna start but I would like to still do a new league on here if possible. Make it a fantasy league and a fixed budget and no written tactics and I'm sure it wouldn't be too time consuming. I miss you all as I only chat to marky over on ja but this site is the home of sports gaming for me

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
Only way to get interest is choose any club name in the world, everyone has the same budget, draft system and then minimum of 2 seasons. Minimum and maximum numbers for squads. Old school. No TM limits, if you wanna buy Messi and a load of freebies then so be it.

I think the Overlords of the league should be BamBam and Miky. The rest of us can take on duties such as injuries, lawyers, tables, goalscorers etc.
Re: The Funky Bunch League page
I'll oversee it. I'm resigning from the JA league as I'm fed up of it, but something like this would be easy to do and enjoyable.

Marky what's wrong with Fan's LSTD's League.
I'm definitely in by the way, but I'd prefer some short (100 words) tactics?

I'm a bit fed up of dropping points due to bad luck, which is the case with this slot system they use. Although on top of that I'm just not enjoying it.
Something here from scratch would be a change of pace though.

Re: The Funky Bunch League page
My league, my rules.
Draft system, a budget (to be determined) to be spent on anybody based on their value on TM. Tactics short, teamsheet, substitutes, 100 words of tactics, few sentences for substitutions. Everybody votes or lose a goal from their score, just scores and scorers acceptable although feedback is encouraged. Choose your own real life team name although this will have no bearing on the players you can or can't sign.
Format of league depends on how many teams join.
Any issues?
