I'm sure when it becomes obvious what the philosophy is then people will buy into it more.

I shouldn't be too critical, I watched Liverpool put in a brilliant display against Arsenal and then capitulate dreadfully a few weeks later against a Man Utd team who were then roundly stuffed by the same Arsenal team we were unfortunate not to beat. I'm still struggling to comprehend what Rodgers' philosophy was that day so Van Gaal's strategies will be beyond me.

Tommy Elphick, out for Bournemouth till new year.

They really are not having much luck in the injury stakes.

Danny Ings join Gomez on the sidelines for the rest of the season, both knee ligament damage! Awful luck for Klopp/Liverpool.

Ironically Ings was one of the players I expected to excel under Klopp with his playing style. Terrible news for us. Down to the bare bones for Tottenham it seems.

Down to Origi and Sturridge then. Am hoping Spurs still have the same kind of mental frailty playing us that we seem to have playing Man Utd ie form and table positions be damned. Would be disappointed if we lost to them, we normally have their number irrespective of how badly we're playing...if fact last season the Spurs game was the only time we played well.

Spurs have their players missing too. Their midfield must be down to bare bones if mason and bentaleb are still out. Dier misses the game I think

It's got draw written all over it (which, given my track record, means a 7 goal thriller)
Anyway, has anyone in Liverpool's fast food outlets created a snack to herald the arrival of the new boss?

Surely someone's selling the "Jurgen Burger" (probably just a "normal" burger though)

We got £10m from the F.A for Michael Owen, I'd imagine you could probably claim about 50p for Rossiter & Gomez

Would far rather have the fit players than any compensation! Fingers crossed Rossiters is a week or 2 just.

Still trying to fathom out how Lallana's flicks & cruyff turns, that go absolutely nowhere, give the media & Woy instant hard-ons.

Started well, Tottenham been the better team from about 20 minutes on though. Lallana been brutal, Milner is a red card waiting to happen. For a first 45 under a new manager can't complain though. Hopefully they start the second like the first but maintain it that bit longer..

United 2 up at Everton through Schneiderlin and Herrera. Bournemouth get 1 back. Southampton 1 up v Leicester and Jenkinson puts West Ham 1 up at Palace.
