Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
I had Giovinco on a season long loan, but he's not rated on here so I'm not interested in following that up.
Wolfsburg were lucky not to be relegated from the Bundesliga, finishing one place above the drop zone. We want Diego who would be a key player here, and can offer Rakitic + 8m for the playmaker. Diego has had run-ins with the management of the club in the past and is unhappy because he hasn't started key games for them.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
I think Huntelaar will not want to move again as he has been around quite a bit in recent seasons. They had a new manager and improved towards end of season so I think he will wait another year.
Diego has been rejected quite recently as Afro does not feel he will want to leave Germany after the torrid time he had last time.

I agree on Diego and Huntelaar. He was not happy in Italy, so I think he would only move to a bigger German team, or back to Brazil

Completely disagree with you. Yes, he was unhappy in Italy. But he has had arguments with the Wolfsburg staff and hasn't been starting the big games. He wants out.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Name: Fabio Quagliarella
From: Napoli
To: Stoke
Fee: £6m
I took the lad on loan last season with a view to signing him on a permanent deal when I was Sunderland manager. I would like to sign him on a permanent deal for £6m, he will struggle to get into the Napoli side next season and with Stoke going to release majority of thier strikeforce he would definatley become our first chice striker. We already have top names such as King,Fernandez, Tremanalious and of course fellow country man Montolivo

Will get back to you on Quag Viva.
Mouse - I agree he has fallen out with Wolfsburg, as he has with most of his clubs in the past. However, it seems quite clear that unless a big German club comes in for him, he will be on his way back to Brazil (Botafogo I think)

Erik Lamela - A top youngster - but vying to play in Europe, we will give him a chance to become our playmaker in a £4m deal

No clubs have made offers though?
If no clubs make an offer by a specific date, could I get Diego then?

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Mouse - if no deal IRL seems imminent for Diego by 1st july, then yes, Diego would be prepared to move to Fulham. Wolfsburg would accept Rakitic + £8m
Viva - Quag knee injury means that Juve probably won't take up the permanent option. Napoli want to sell to fund their own move to make Cavani permanent, so they are prepared to agree a deal. However, £6m is considerably below their valuation
Sunderland 1/3
Sergio Canales
£3m loan
Real have indicated that they are prepared to let Canales go on loan again as he does not yet feature in their first team plans. He was a success at Sunderland last year so we move to bring him in again, for the same fee as last year.
£3m loan
2/3
Fernando Gago
Real Madrid
Madrid have also indicated that they are preparing to let Gago leave the club. He has proven his worth in England in his loans to Bolton, so we would like to benefit from our new found relationship and agree a deal for season 3. We would like to offer £2m to take him on loan for the season, with a future fee of £8m agreed to buy him permanently at the end of the season.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
sorry. Missed that one.
I understand that an investment group bought his rights for €18m, so it would need to be much more than that, as they will want to make a profit.

Sunderland 3/3
Cheikh M'Bengue
Plays in France for Toulouse and is being looked at by a few English clubs, particularly Newcastle. We would like to get one over on the Geordies and pinch their target. They offered £3m which was turned down, so we go one better.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
£8m for Quag, don't think many teams would go for him after the injury and he will be out for a while in real life. Cavani won't be available for much longer so Napoli should take the £8m.
Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Napoli are keen to offload Quag to fund Cavani, however they don't want to sell themselves too short. They value Quag at £12m, but would be willing to meet you in the middle and accept £10m in order to get a sale. However, they emphasise that they would not be prepared to go lower than that for a player who excelled at the World Cup and then Juve before his injury.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Afro, all your bids look fine to me but just to ensure the Gago loan fee is £3M not £2M.
One for me:
Thiago Alacantra
£3M loan £8M FF
Linked to Bolton last week for £5M purchase fee outright :O we offer Barca a substantial amout more in a total deal for him if it were to be made perm.
Alternatively £6M purchase straight up if they want the cash now. Barcelona are blessed in abundance with so many top midfielders he would be better off taking this route to establish himself as a first team player and maybe if we discover he has Barca DNA in the future he can win a move back to them.

Yep £3m loan fee for Gago. Although I will wait until Bolton have had the chance to consider a bid as Gago is on loan at them.

Or maybe the Stoke manager may compete for Gago .............. nah he won't or will he...
Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Not sure where we stand with whether you can or not.
If he hadn't been loaned to Bolton last year, I would have confirmed the other day and you wouldn't have had the opportunity to counter my offer.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Bid 1
Emiliano Viviano - Bologna
He has been offered to clubs in England and with his present club and would prefer a move out. Sirigu would without doubt become unhappy being No.2 to Viviano, so I would like to offer them Salvatore Sirigu as a direct replacement for him + £2.0m. This gives them the Italian No.3 and some cash to put in the bank to maybe strengthen elsewhere in there team.

Bid 2
Antonio Cassano has been increasingly frustrated at the lack of playing time at Milan, he signed for them for a minimal fee (around £2.5m) and wants out already, here at Birmingham we GUARANTEE him 1st team football as he will grab the No.10 shirt and play just behind the main striker in a new look attack - With a £6m bid this more than doubles the amount they paid for him. At 28 he must be playing 1st team football to keep his place in the Italian team and he will get that at St Andrews, something Milan cannot give him with the attacking players they have.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Bid 3 - Luiz Adriano
The youngster playing for Shahktar needs to play in a higher profile league to get his International career going, with Renato Augusto already here at Birmingham this would help him settle. He would provide a prolific partnership with Cassano(if signed) in our new look strike force. Kiessling is more than suited to Shahktars play and he will offer them a great deal up front. They will get another £2m added to the deal

Name: Idriss Kameni
From: Espanyol
To: Stoke City
Fee: £4.5m
Having played at Spain for a number of years, we would like to offer Kameni to play his trade in England. A new challenge for the lad, he would become our first team keeper and play alongside Internationals and a team looking to move in the right direction.

Okay. I didn't make that clear, so I will clarify. You must alway outbid the current highest offer, not match it. So in this case, Pineapple was first to offer £6.5m, so anyone else must outbid for him.

And to avoid too much heart ache, the highest bidder doesn't necessarily mean they get him. Milan might want more for him and the player may not want to move to the club.
£7m is nowhere near enough for Milan to accept btw
