I will do Viva.

I was planning to do them all at 12.30, but I could see arguments starting about a bidding war and that neither of them were even close to a higher enough offer.

Cassano has indicated that he has no interest in joining Birmingham at this point in his career. He has indicated that he quite happy at Milan, but if Liverpool can put together a package acceptable to Milan, then he would consider this move. Milan have dismissed the £10m offer as derisory.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Fan. censored

I am actually checking with Smarts on PM, so even if I tried that, I wouldn't be able to get away with it.

Smarts - you better take over this one then.

So you think Cassano would join Birmingham IRL?

Either way, Smarts can answer you TPs from now on.

And there may be some players that the likelyhood of them joining has been stretched. But Cassano to Birmingham?

I can push the asking price up if he would join a club who finished 1 place below Liverpool

This is not real life so see no reason why Cassano would not join Birmingham

£12m

Fan at the moment Cassano is quite happy to battle for his team place at Milan after winning Serie A. He was involved as either a starter or from the bench in most games last season and made a decent contribution with goals and assists. He does not see Birmingham as the right choice for him at this stage in his career.
He might consider Liverpool (if they can find an acceptable offer for Milan) but only on the basis of guranteed 1st team football week in week out. If this is not guranteed he will not move as he would rather battle for a 1st team place at AC Milan than at Liverpool.
On top of this regardless of Cassano not wanting to join Birmingham the £12M is not accepted by Milan.

Maarten Stekelenburg
From Ajax
To Everton
£7M + Sergio Romero
On the back of our cup final success and unbeaten run in all competitions since smartestgooner took over, we look to use our position as being installed as one of the favourites by the sponsors next season to entice the Ajax & Holland No.1 to Everton. We know there has been some interest in Stekelenburg in recent weeks, however the bidders have messed Ajax around and not been willing to meet the asking price. We are offering a great GK(who cost £7M from AZ) and a large sum of cash for Stekelenburgs services. Romero would not be on massive wages and I'm sure would love to move to Ajax and be their first choice goalkeeper as opposed to sitting on the Everton bench. He is also fairly young and this fits into Ajax's philosophy of developing strong young talent and later selling them on for massive profits. In a few years Romero could be sold for the same value as this Stekelenburg offer today. Vertonghen has been whispering sweet nothings into the ear of his former team mate and letting him know how good life is at Everton.

Dennis Aogo + Heikko Westermann
From: Hamburg
To: Blackburn
Fee: Marcel Schafer + 8m

I think these 2 players could help fill in where i believe the team to be slightly weak. Westermann will also at times be able to cover at DM. Schafer as been offered in P/X as a direct LB replacement for Aogo.

Andy,
The players are interested in a move and Hamburg have indicated they are willing to do business. They also agree to taken Schafer back home to his native Germany, however the cash element in the offer falls some way short of their current valuation for these 2 players and will need to be increased significantly.

Viviano - Bologna will sell and Viviano is interested in the move. However, there is also the fact that he is half owned by Inter, who will not be getting a replacement.

Therefore, an acceptable deal for both parties is:

Bologna will accept Sirigu for their share of Viviano, or will accept £5m cash
Inter will accept £5m for their 50% of Viviano.

Shahktar are not interested in Kiessling, and Kiessling is not interested in moving to Ukraine. Shahktar demand straight cash for Luiz Adriano

Thiago Alcantara's agent has declared that he is not looking to leave Barca permanently and the club are keen to keep him. However, they are both willing to agree a loan deal (no FF) and whilst his reputation is currently high, they are asking £4m

Stekelenberg is not interested in this move, whilst there is interest from a CL club (Tottenham). However, if no deal has happened, and if you are in the top 3 and fighting for a CL spot in week 5, then he will reconsider your proposition.

We are dissapointed as we feel Spurs burnt their bridges with Stek by stalling on the deal and the chance to link up with his former team mates was very tempting for him, however we will wait and see how things shape up in the future and retain our interest.

Andy,
Hamburg were looking for a deal of £14m + Shmelzer (valued at £6M by them).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm interested in Thiago but was looking to bring him in more on a perm basis so will not be taking up the loan option only at this time.

We were looking at £20M combined. Westermann was Hamburgs key man since signing for them in the summer of 2010 and played every game for them last year (as captain I believe?). Aogo is a good young player in the German national team, both players are very versatile which adds to their value.
Westermann can cover CB/RB/LB/DM Aogo similar?

Calvalho - 11m

More than Real paid for him, and it gives him a chance to get first team football when Real are linked with a host of defenders and the likes of Arbeloa and Albiol are trying to force him out of the first team slot.

Mata rejects the move to Fulham.

Carvalho is a Mourinho favourite and Real are not looking to sell.

Aguero is at Liverpool already.

For Liverpool, Mata is not enough money (they have just been offered £25m for him by Fulham, why would they take £18m).

For Fulham, the player rejects the move, so it is a no to them

Think it's silly.
Can I not offer a big signing on fee to the player himself, Man City do it?

Anyway, on a separate note, if I can't get Mata at all then it shouldn't affect Liverpool IMO.
