Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
I did counter the offer before the transfer was confirmed though, plus at the time I was posting, the deal was still be negotiated
This is a realistic league and managers regularly have targets who they don't want to sign straight away, but they are forced to act by someone else bidding - Newcastle bid for Rooney, so ferguson came in a season earlier than he was expected to, same with Phil Jones this summer after an offer from Liverpool.
Daniel Sturridge I had enquired on loan before, but there was no suggestion of first refusal. I am very keen on Sturridge as I rate him very highly as one for the future. If it had just been a loan deal, I wouldn't have countered, but with Bolton getting first refusal should a permanent transfer be possible, then I am acting.
And as far as I am concerned, my offer is legit and the highest offer. See what others think.
Oxlade-Chamberlain - Bolton enquired and offered £5m. They were told that Southampton want a lot more cash.
Catala - just need to double check something and will get back to you

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Maybe Zapata was signed to play fullback? As Gonazol Rodriguez is vice captain and I doubt they will drop his CB partner Marchena?
Jeffren, I am of the opinion he is worth more than £5M. However that is the rumours (but it has not gone further than that). He is obviously going to move this summer so I will propose a groundbreaking deal in which you take him for £5M now but if he moves for more irl you have to match the additional money?
Daniel Sturridge at £3M to stop arguments, however Afro I don't agree with your concept and that is now how I have been running foreigns for the point already mentioned.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
I can just imagine the scene at Old Trafford
Phelan: Alex, Rooney has left Everton for Newcastle.
SAF: What! When did this happen?
Phelan: Whilst you were at lunch.
LOL
No worries on Sturridge, Tranq can have him at the agreed £2m price.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Afro.
The dilemma is, somebody can make 3 enquiries get rebuffed 3 times but they run that risk.
If somebody is just waiting in the background, lurking if you will they can jump in after it has been accepted only waisting one of their enquiries then poach the player.
However if I have not responded to the 1st enquiry yet I normal let others enter the bidding. That said I replied very quickly to Tranqs offer so I can see the frustration.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
I don't really see where the problem lies tbh. but I am not really that concerned.
Disappointed as I really rate Sturridge and I responded as soon as I saw the offer.
But I think how you are doing TPs is fine.
Although I would be really surprised if anyone is lurking just to gazump anyone elses TPs. Plus don't forget there is nothing to stop that first manager from coming back and offering more again.

Okay an enquiry has to be up for atleast 30mins from now on until I reply. Gives people the chance to enter the negotiations.

And in all honest as it currently stands I cant see Chelsea allowing Sturridge to leave and certainly not for £5M.

Name: Klaas-Jan Huntelaar
From: Schalke
To: Stoke City
Fee: £6m
Huntelaar has not settled well since leaving Ajax, we are offering him a way out and join Stoke. Schalke have not been very impressive. We are in need of a striker and feel the fee is the righr value for the Striker.

smarts check out james rodriguez wikipedia page. It says he handed in a transfer request. Its been on there for 2 weeks now and no one has changed it so it must be true.
Mark gonzalez

Nadeem the prices I give are generally non negotiable on value to save time. CSKA want their asking price met to release M.Gonzalez
Do you have any links apart from wiki Nadeem?
Viva,
Shalke have laughed off your offer for KJH as ridiculous.

I don't think CSKA are interested to loan out a starting midfielder to be honest Nad. How much cash do you have at the moment?

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Afro,
My final enquiry today.
Jose Bosingwa
£7M
Chelsea
Everton
After coming out on loan to Aston Villa in our league he went back to Chelsea but irl could not get in the team. With Alex, Terry & Luiz as the CBs it looks like Ivanovic will start RB. Bosingwa will want 1st team football but has not been himself since that big injury and we see this move as a bit of a risk but a decent fee Chelsea will get for him in return. We are in Europe due to our cup win last year and Raul Meireles has told him good things about Everton.

Paulo Ferreria
Chelsea to Fulham
£1.5 million
We can offer him first team football where he can use his experience to pass on his knowledge to our younger generation. We believe the fee is fair as he is getting on a bit.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
TP1 - Benedikt howedes, schalke had a poor season, and we feel we can offer him a fresh challenge - a bid of 7m for him
TP2 - Daniel van Buyten - with bayern making changes to their defence, he is set to lose his place and we would like to give him one last shot at the big time a bid of 3m is made
TP3 - Alex - as lost his place to divid luiz in the chelsea team, and we feel he would need first team football if he has any aspirations of getting into the brazil squad a bid of 10m is made

TP's are closed today Tranq. However as your new i'll let you have those 3.
Howedes - Schalke would like more cash for the CB.
Van Buyten - Will get back to you
Alex - Thats a no. Happy at Chelsea and if he moves he feels he can join a top club.

Hey Tranq thanks for enqurying for Alex as I was intrested in him but it is a long shot he is a good defender.
Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Taking into considertation age, and recent recognition with the Germany team + value on transfermarket.co.uk your looking at around the £13M/£14M mark Tranq.

yeah alex was what id call a speculative offer, knew i had very little chance, but couldnt really find any other cb's
would they accept gebhart + 6m, with farfan in this league theyd need a replacement for him and he fits the bill, and has the bonus of having experience in the bundesliga

Sorry Tranqs, quite strict on exchanges here unless it really benefits the other team. Don't know a lot about Gebhart, not sure if Shalke would want him but unless it is a massive benefit to the other team I wouldn't accept and I don't think Gebhart is such a benefit. Will have to be straight cash or a player exchange where a player is linked to Schalke irl.

Van Buyten, at the moment rejected as we wait and see what the new manager will do. Will the signing of Boateng mean DVB is benched etc, if so I invite you to come back at the end of the season(our furious season) and try your hand again and you would probably get a more favourable outcome.

Smarts - on Bosingwa, it is dependant upon whether the above Ferreira deal is accepted. I don't think Chelsea would accept both. Therefore, I will rule on both

I was of the opinion they will not accept both. But I didn't reply to the Ferreira bid for that very reason as I got my Bosignwa bid in first.
As well as your thoughts I would like you to take into consideration who is most likely to accept a bit part role and who would like 1st team football let me know if any negotiation is needed on mine or Fulhams part.

Here's how I see it.
Ivanovic will start as RB, Cole as LB
One of Ferreira or Bosingwa as back-up RB (or play if Ivanovic plays CB)
Zhirkov currently LB cover.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Ferreira - Chelsea are prepared to sell Ferreira providing you can match their valuation (which you currently have not). Please return with a higher offer or state your intention to pull out.
Bosingwa - Chelsea would prefer to sell Ferreira given his current age. However, if Fulham do not meet Chelsea's valuation, then they would be prepared to negotiate for Bosingwa. They realise they will not get back the £16m they paid, but feel £7m feels short of their desired price.
Should this run into tomorrow, Viva knows the required valuations

Okay well I will up my offer to £9M for Bosingwa. A large offer for a player who has struggled since injury.
I thought they purchased him for £14M but I might be wrong.

Boswinga deal is accepted for £9m.
Fulham are yet to reply and Chelsea are not willing to wait any longer and will be keeping Ferriera.

The thing is Smartest and Afro have got it sorted to the max, anyone elses takes over it will mess up the consistency we've all been craving. They know what player has been rejected and for what reason, it won't be fair if I mess up and a certain manager has been pending for a player for ages but because my lack knowledge on whos' still in T.P and who has gone for what reason and what reason they didn't go for.
I think next week we should have mon-fri to do T.P make up for the lost days.

Mears & Eagles is a deal.
Majid Bougherra is more interested in moving to our league than to the U.A.E but you will have to bump the bid to £5M to match/cover the massive wages he has been offerred by the Qatari club.
