Ross Barkley - sold by Sunderland to Swansea in a lawyers offer a few weeks ago. Presumably, you can see that on the list of lawyers moves you put together at the weekend

I agree that he would probably move, but one of the earlier offers was after the world cup and the answer was still no because 3 weeks in South Africa is different from moving permanently. And even then, the 3 weeks in South Africa caused him anxiety

Wolves prefer Kevin Doyle over Carlton Cole. However Doyle is interested in the move but it would take a decent cash offer to secure his services.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
I would like to bid £4M for Sebastien Coates. After selling Kjaer I feel there is a place in my team for a new defender and Coates would fit the bill as he would also qualify as an U21 for my cup team. Teams in the Uruguay league do not have much cash and this offer would be way to much for them to reject. Luis Suarez has confirmed Coates is interested in the deal after hearing how great life is on Merseyside.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Can I make an enquiry on Martin Caceres please?
He has just left Barcelona in real life, showing that he is prepared to move. I can offer him European football, and seeing as he was signed for 3M after a loan move, I am hoping the fee will be reasonable. He would move straight into our defence and there is no doubt he would be key for our team.

Sunderland 1/3
Didier Drogba
With the arrival of Torres in January and now Lukaku, Chelsea will be looking to offload the big Ivorian before he loses much more value. CL teams will be reluctant to take a punt because of his age, but we can offer Europa League football
Sunderland 2/3
Salomon Kalou
Already deemed surplus to requirements by being offloaded to Birmingham on loan, his loan spell has now ended and he is back to being a squad player at Chelsea. We would like to offer him the chance of a permanent move to a team in Europa League.
Chelsea have shown an interest in Arda Turan previously

The potential deal IRL was mooted as Drogba + £7m = Turan, but as we are not allowed to make money from foreigns, I offer Turan for Drogba + Kalou

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
I'll up my offer to £6.5M for Sebastien Coates. Is that similar to the bid his club have already accepted???
Punting,
Martin Caceres has just joined Sevilla so won't move again so soon.
Afro,
I'm willing to wait and see what happens irl. If that Drogba deal goes ahead for Turan then you can do the same deal. But I would like to see if Drogba and Kalou feature in the early stages of the season for Chelsea.

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
OK.
Both £6m and £6,5m better the previously accepted offer (€6.2m). Coates is interested in both clubs and will join the club who makes the highest offer.
Note no bidding just to bump up the price. If you win the bid and then pull out, I will fine you!!!

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Just a quick question is Coates really interested to join Spurs to be 5th choice CB?
Metersacker, Rolando, Dawson, Shawcross already at Spurs.
I only have 3 recognised CBs and at times one of them covers DM and LB.

TP1 - Raul Albiol, not in the first team picture, so we would like to give him a chance to play in a different league, which with puyols advancing years, give him a real chance of claiming a spot in spains first XI in the near future as he will be linking up with another player with spanish aspirations in enrique, we offer 10m

Frank Fielding, currently at Derby County, we would like to bring him up to Aston Villa. They paid £400,000 for him, we are willing to give them nearly double in profit with a bid of £750,000

Coates believes he is better than all 4 of those CBs, so he has no problem moving to Spurs.
Smarts - was there an answer to Biglia and Iraola yesterday. Just remembered I offered on them yesterday!!

Re: Transfers Pending - Furious League
Tottizzle in da hizzouse
1/3
Marco Reus
From: Borussia Mönchengladbach
To: Spurs
Fee: £7.5m
Marco Reus is a bright talent. I wish to make him part of the uprising talent here at Tottenham. With European cpmpetitions coming up, Afro Cup matches and the League there is now a need for a larger squad. Reus will have the oppertunity to play in the Afro Cup and League matches with the option to make the big stage European matches always available.
Marco Reus suits Tottenhams style, He has tremendous speed and glides past the opposition a good touch and is technically gifted, also cool finisher and good in the air! Everything to be a big sucsess.
International team mate and fellow youngster Mario Götze is here at Tottenham relishing his break thourgh into the League team. He can help Marco Reus settle into the club. Another German Per Mertesacker is also here and can act like the "older brother" German to help settle in. Mertz helped Mario settle and both can help Marco Reus.
Borussia Mönchengladbach know they cannot hold onto a player of his talent. As stated in the link below from April 2011. Their value of Marco Reus is "€8.5 million" which the article states "would be quite a steep sum".
