Such a sad story indeed Sad
AAC's always struck me as a great bloke & what a brilliant thing to do. Hats off to all the nurses etc involved in making that happen as well.

I work in radiotherapy and you get times you see the DOB and double-take. Sucks. But you need to make the most of it and at least the guy got to see the Wallabies at the World Cup like he wanted.

I know the feeling, mate.  Too damn well.
Still, it's  a story that reflects very well on a player who seems a good gent.  Words, as ever, are insufficient for his mate's family.

The ENgland squad helped quite a few Welsh fans acheive their life ambitions too, but this one seems quite a bit more decent.
For all the stick he gets not a lot of peopel know that Manu Tuillagi has been a long term supporter of a sick boy, visiting him hospital and various otehr things. Its generally kept on the downlow and done not for publicity but because the boys family were very active in the Matt Hampson trust. The seperation between fans players families and friends hasnt completely died in professional rugby.

Lump in the throat. A good reminder for people who take the game a little too seriously at times.
