The Cardozo (£17m) + Turan (£18m - ish) for Young deal that is. Total package worth around £35m?!?!

Andy is going to pay me £5m now, so I will be committing to the deal. Once I have done this today, the only way he won't be joining Blackburn next year is if Andy can't raise the other £12m (which seems unlikely from what he says). Even if I wanted to pull out, I couldn't.

I don't mean to apply pressure. I wanted to give you the chance as you have Cardozo on loan, and also we had discussed a deal before Andy had made his offer. I kind of feel that you should have first refusal. It is okay if you are not interested as I will just accept Andy's offer, which I am also happy with.

You don't appear to have £5m though.

I think that is stretching it a bit. As I said based on the £17m offer for Cardozo and my valuation of £18m on Turan, £35m is already a big offer for Young.

I actually value Lugano at £12m, but would sell him for £9m if it was part of the other deal. I would also accept the money being paid after the season 4 sponsors offers are done.

Sometimes it is not all about 1 player.

I took a barrage when I sold Bent, but what I got for him has allowed me to build a stronger team all round.

It's entirely up to you what is the best, but let me know either way so that I am not keeping Andy hanging on too long.

Off to a meeting now.

He is a good player but he needs a move to boost his ratings as the Shalke are not going anywhere, especially after they sold their star man Manuel Neur

I honestly dont see a problem with selling free agents tbh as long as you dont buy with intent on making a profit. You used Carrol and i needed Adu at the start of being in charge of Blackburn as i was short on players at one point and put him on the bench. Think i may have played him in a cup tie before. If we're keeping things realistic, we should be able to sell but ill alter my page now. But still allow Adu to join Chesterfield on a free as theres no point in keeping him now.

I understand.

I bought him because I thought he was a bargain from the releases and that I would be able to play him the cup as well.

However, I have written my cup team out and he wasn't in it, so a loan seems like a good deal for both clubs.

And my board are very happy to deal with Stoke considering the strong working relationship between the two clubs and your former ties with the club.

Can you vote on the Everton-Sunderland cup game.

Although it's not compulsory, your vote is the casting vote for that game and it is all square at the moment.

I would think so.

I expect him alongside Fellaini, with Cahill in front supporting a loan striker, and two wide players.

However, he had a knock in preseason and is 50/50 for Saturday, so might not feature straight away.

I would consider anything upto 16th Feb as season 1
