Like Rory, LadyPutt flexed her muscles and asserted her authority.  Five of her picks finished in scoring positions, four of them inside the top four, and eased to victory in the final event of the 2015 Fantasy League series.  Her closest challenger was 1GrumpyGolfer who had three picks inside the top ten and one of the last placed finishers in Henrik Stenson.  McLaren, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines all had McIlroy and two of the top four.  Ray joins in the tie for third courtesy of Stenson.  EmmDee57 finished hot on their heels despite missing out on Category C entirely.  MustPuttBetter, Sand, AlciG, and Kwinigolfer all had the winner in their picks and they round out the top ten.  I'm Never Wrong, TheCleaver, Beninho, Eyetoldyouso, Pedro, Hibbz, Davie, and Super_Realist all had three picks score points while SirBenson and BlueCoverman had just the two.

Lee Slattery shot 65 for the low round of the day.  Thongchai Jaidee and Julien Quesne shared the worst round with 77s; BlueCoverman and 1GrumpyGolfer picked up the respective points.  At the other end of the leaderboard to McIlroy, Henrik Stenson and James Morrison finished dead solid last.  Stenson earned points for over half of the Fantasy Leaguer while Morrison earned points for Hibbz and Super_Realist.  Hibbz also got points from Stenson.

The finale is here! The European Tour Race to Dubai ends here, in Dubai, and on 606v2 so does the Summer/Autumn Session and the Fantasy League Order of Merit.  

The top 60 players in the Race to Dubai standings are all invited to the shindig but two party-poopers have meant that 60 of the top 62 players will tee it up.  Sergio Garcia and George Coetzee have given up their slots allowing Stephen Gallacher and Alejandro Canizares a chance to earn some more loot.

World number 3, and Race to Dubai leader, Rory McIlroy is back in the mix and he'll be looking to stop Henrik Stenson completing a hattrick of wins on the Earth course.  McIlroy was the last player not named Stenson to win back in 2012 and the first winner of the event in 2009, Lee Westwood, is the only other former winner teeing it up this year.  Alvaro Quiros and Robert Karlsson have previously won the event but did not qualify.

Due to the limited field size the number of picks is scaled back to two from each category plus reserve.  This is also a no cut event so the usual cut bonuses are not in effect.

RULES

Picking players: Unless stated, pick a total of 6 players as follows:

Pick 2 players from each category, plus a reserve per category.

Event winner: The person with the most total points at the completion of each event will be declared the winner. In case of a tie, those involved will match-off each picks' final position score in descending order. i.e. Player A's best finish vs. Player B's best finish, Player A's 2nd best finish vs. Player B's 2nd best finish, etc... until one's pick finishes better than the other(s).

If there is a tie after all 6 picks have been matched against each other, those involved will be declared co-winners.

Order of Merit: The person with the most total points at the completion of the season will be declared the Fantasy League Champion. If there is a tie for total points at the completion of the season, those involved will be declared Co-Champions.

Player Withdrawals: If you pick a player who withdraws during a tournament, that player will be eligible for points for all completed rounds and making the cut if they withdraw after the cut. It must be apparent that the player completed their round for them to be eligible for either the low round, worse round, top 5, or top 10 low round scores.  If a player withdraws before starting the tournament then your reserve will be put in that player's place. It is up to you to check that your players are in the starting field.

Holidays / Absences: If you will be absent for an upcoming event (e.g holidays) you may post the numbers on the most recent fantasy league event and the respective tournament(s) that apply or PM them to me.  Example: Pick 3 players and 1 reserve from each category and the relative event number or name: Players 4, 5, and 8, reserve 9 from Category A, players 1, 3, and 7, reserve 5 from Category B, players 1, 2 and 17, reserve 12 from Category C, Event #12.

Failure to submit picks: If you do not submit picks you will be awarded zero points.

Deadlines: Picks must ideally be submitted before the first drive is struck on the first day of the tournament.  However, late picks submitted after the tournament has begun must be for players who have yet to start (or are not showing a score on europeantour.com, PGATour.com, etc.), and these will not be valid unless they are seconded by any other league member.

All fantasy league disputes and discrepancies will be considered by the League Judge: LadyPutt. All decisions made by the League Judge are final.

The question was raised whether Henrik Stenson could be beaten by any other player in order to prevent him from achieving a hattrick of wins at the DP World Tour Championship. Several names were put forward but one of them wasn't Henrik Stenson. Stenson will have to do it the hard way if he's going to win after carding a five over 77 to sit joint last with Scott Hend and Tommy Fleetwood. Twelve Fantasy Leaguers thought they were going to get good Henrik and not bad Henrik.

At the other end of the leaderboard four players sit in a tie for the lead after rounds of 66, two of them, Martin Kaymer and Ian Poulter, were picks. Beninho and Hibbz picked Kaymer and Pedro picked Poulter. All three also picked Stenson.

The other two players to share the lead are Andy Sullivan and Marcus Fraser. Francesco Molinari shot 67 to round out the top five low round scores.

In the race for the session win Raycastleunited is keeping pace with TheCleaver while AlciG, BlueCoverman, and I'm Never Wrong find themselves five points further adrift.

It looked to be a low scoring, high points scoring day for the Fantasy Leaguers until Emiliano Grillo came along. His round of 64 pipped the 65s of fellow picks Patrick Reed, Bernd Wiesberger, and Kiradech Aphibarnrat. Grillo earned points for McLaren and SetupDetermines rather than those who would have picked up points for Reed, Wiesberger, and Aphibarnrat. At the other end of the leaderboard David Howell had the worst day with a 76. McLaren and SetupDetermines doubled up here as they both had Howell. AlciG and I'm Never Wrong get off of the mark too and TheCleaver also picked up more worst round points for the second day running.

In the race for the session win TheCleaver extends his lead over Raycastleunited by five points as AlciG and I'm Never Wrong join keep pace with Ray; BlueCoverman finds himself a further five points adrift.

Early indications, may well be hopelessly wrong, show Ray earning 15 more points than TheCleaver in round 3. That means he closes the gap by ten points in the standings.

Also, back of a fag packet, early calculations seem to show LadyPutt as the big mover and shaker in round 3. Conservative, or wildly inaccurate, estimates have her earning 60 points. This could well put her into the lead and then again it might not.

Fifteen players shot 68 or better to make the top ten low round scores. Twelve of them were picks and several Fantasy Leaguers had multiple picks among those twelve. LadyPutt had the most with five of her six picks scoring points in round three. She also included Rory McIlroy in those scoring picks and she leaps to the top of the leaderboard on the back of his 65 which was the low round of the day. 1GrumpyGolfer had four picks including McIlroy and EmmDee57, Eyetoldyouso, I'm Never Wrong, and Raycastleunited had three picks score points. What's more impressive is that EmmDee only had four picks and all of them scored points; Justin Rose shot a 78 for the worst round of the day and he had McIlroy so he climbed the leaderboard in style.

AlciG, McLaren, MustPuttBetter, Sand, SetupDetermines, and TheCleaver all had two picks score points for good reasons. Mac, Setup, and TheCleaver also had Rose so they got points for bad play too. Beninho, Davie, Kwinigolfer, Pedro, and SirBenson all had one pick score points for good reasons and Pedro got points for bad reasons too.

So far Raycastleunited has cut TheCleaver's lead in the session standings by ten points. I'm Never Wrong has closed slighty while AlciG is keeping pace with TheCleaver; BlueCoverman is falling behind.

Like Rory, LadyPutt flexed her muscles and asserted her authority. Five of her picks finished in scoring positions, four of them inside the top four, and eased to victory in the final event of the 2015 Fantasy League series. Her closest challenger was 1GrumpyGolfer who had three picks inside the top ten and one of the last placed finishers in Henrik Stenson. McLaren, Raycastleunited, and SetupDetermines all had McIlroy and two of the top four. Ray joins in the tie for third courtesy of Stenson. EmmDee57 finished hot on their heels despite missing out on Category C entirely. MustPuttBetter, Sand, AlciG, and Kwinigolfer all had the winner in their picks and they round out the top ten. I'm Never Wrong, TheCleaver, Beninho, Eyetoldyouso, Pedro, Hibbz, Davie, and Super_Realist all had three picks score points while SirBenson and BlueCoverman had just the two.

Lee Slattery shot 65 for the low round of the day. Thongchai Jaidee and Julien Quesne shared the worst round with 77s; BlueCoverman and 1GrumpyGolfer picked up the respective points. At the other end of the leaderboard to McIlroy, Henrik Stenson and James Morrison finished dead solid last. Stenson earned points for over half of the Fantasy Leaguer while Morrison earned points for Hibbz and Super_Realist. Hibbz also got points from Stenson.
