Fighter Of Year?

I watched a few back and forths on Twitter the other day on who should be FOY 2015 - with no-one managing to make a conclusive case for anyone!

It's been a poor year: who do you feel deserves this? Mayweather for his uninspiring wins over Pacquiao and Berto? Fury for his stunning upset of Klitschko? Canelo for wins over Kirkland and Cotto? Someone else?

Tough one (maybe they should leave it vacant!).

More to striking than boxing. If someone like GGG finds his chin, Conor is finished. However kicking makes a massive difference in a fight.

Leg kicks hurt like f..k and you can throw them from a safe distance from a pure puncher.

Ah ok, apples and oranges... kick-boxer a more direct comparison. 

So, Aldo did nothing wrong? That kind of attack is normal for him? That's what I'm trying to get to... McGregor said he made a mistake and over extended. Or was he just being modest about his own performance... Don't believe he's known for his modesty is he?

Naw wasn't quite normal for Aldo to lunge like that.

To be fair me saying McGregor kills every boxer in a striking match is very ignorant and I take it back. Just every boxing fan says boxers kill all mma fighters standing. They probably do with many, but fighters like Jones and McGregor can fight standing up.
